ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

There’s a few teams in that list with more core players expiring than us. I don’t think we are in a bad spot if we can lock a couple we’ve already discussed in soon.

I’d be having a real go at getting lachie back. Punt Majok and wee mac. Boland from Adelaide is a very good visa player. Injury has held him back though.

Birra did a little interview that’s on the aleague Facebook, speaks very glowingly of the coast, Alen and the club.
Get him in the office Monday morning and throw 2 years and a nice little signing bonus at him. Hopefully having a child will convince him to settle for awhile.
We all talk about players we can possibly build something around. Birra is that kind of player.

I'm not sold on Wales. I would rather bring TBT back.
I am 100% sold on Birra.

Is MC going to open his wallet though?
I understand that he loses money on the team - but surely he understands the problem with our team being undesirable and this compounds with each year - heck, with each game - we underperform.

No doubt the club needs to spend more to be competitive but geez they haven’t made it easy for him to see the funds are well spent. McCormack, Cisse, Asdrubal, Mcglinchey just to name a few recent examples. And that’s not even starting on the locals.
My hope is that Staj can show him an improvement to justify releasing extra funds to take further steps forward. If that happens and the league finally has its independence then that’s all he can really ask for IMO. If it doesn’t happen after that I guess it never will.
