I’m pretty dusty this morning if that explains anything. 2 weeks 2 handball penalties and 4 points dropped because of it. That hurts.L
lol, first time I’ve seen Turbo lose it.
I agree Turbs
ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!
If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.
ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Yep. Keep him in the squad as a vice-assistant-advisor to the attacking assistant coach or some such. On the field? He's reached the point where 10 men is probably preferable. He doesn't harass the defence, he doesn't cause any danger to force people to mark him to open up space for the others - and every time a ball is sent to him, he is either unable or unwilling to get to it.I wondered where our attack went in the 2nd half then I saw Matty was on. My immediate reaction was "WTF is he doing on?". Don't get me wrong, I have a lot of time for Matty off the field, he's always been respectful to fans, always prepared to have a little chat, a great club man. However on the field I'm afraid he can't cut it any more. Time to give it away.
Couldn’t agree more ....as for Captain Card Collector ...I hope the team has the guts to front him and say something cause it looks like ego is stopping him from saying anything, which I firmly believe he would of years agoTo be honest after Simon's effort last night I would like to see Majok get a run and see what he can or can not do. Couldn't be any more ineffective than Simon last night. Actually think Majok may have caused their ageing backs some headaches in the last 20 minutes last night especially when we had to replace Fox and Sam didn't get a run (hindsight is wonderful and I get Staj's tactics). He might have a poor first touch but he is fast and keen as mustard, not old, slow, poor touch and grumpy which played into the hyphenators hands who easily took care of him. The yellow he gave away says it all and especially all of the referee's views on him, he is nothing more than a liability for this team that is trying so hard. I'm sure some of the players are feeling that way about him as well, if not now you see it building as the season progresses.
Definitely won't keep him beyond the season if we do that.Play Duric up front, we have enough midfield depth
And you lose his vision and effectiveness in the midfield. He started his own goal by putting Murray in space with a nice long diagonal ball from deep then busting a gut to get to the far post. Was just sublime.Definitely won't keep him beyond the season if we do that.
To use the American-style depth chart
Striker 1 - ????
Striker 2 - Murray
Striker 3 - Simon
Striker 4 - Majok (emergency)
The Nix’s striker David Ball is the exact kind of striker we need.
Every club has a real #9 except us.
I heard of a striker off contract in December who I think might solve our striker issues.
Zlatan Ibrahimović Is off contract in December and has said he might be Interested in the a league.
