ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Never in doubt!!!!
What a fabulous season thus far.
To be a Mariner`s fan is the most fantastic roller coaster ride imaginable.
Our games/seasons are never over until the final whistle.
As a club we have had our problems this season, but our team has done us proud.
I can just imagine Matty Simon & Rostyn Griffith going nuts...they both deserve a medal along with all of our first team.

Also congrats to PT & the admin staff. You all show the fighting qualities that the "REAL" coast is famous for.

MARINER`S `TIL I DIE
Except, apparently, no medals are awarded for winning the Premier's Plate - bizarre.

I actually think it should now be presented at the earliest opportunity - which is in Brisbane next week.
It can then be paraded in Gosford the week after.

. at first i thought 'why not present it in front of the home crowd the week later?'

. but then i realised it says more receiving it in brisbane :piralaugh: :eek:verhead:

I'm an idiot savant without the pesky savant bit
We are the CHAMPIOOOOONS my friends.....thats the way boys, hell of a rollercoaster ride this season....BUT...we got what we were shooting for...and....we won it like we usually win it, with struggle and passion....Hope Matty and Ros get a medal as well as the rest of the boys to show some thanks for their work in helping us get the plate......as for the FFA not having the plate in Wello.....you cant tell me they dont have two of the fkn things for just such an occasion....YOU SUCK BUCKLEY, YOU FKN AFL SPY.....mindsnap over

SO, once again to Arnie and the boys...Congrats, well done, youse are the grouse...although i'm not particularly fussed , if you feel the need to win the GF and stick it to fkn Ben and his mob of nongs ....go right ahead, I rather give Asia a better shot myself...but whatever....

We are the CHAMPIONSSSS...WE ARE THE CHAMPIONSSSSS....my friends

Awesome season so far. Well done to all concerned. Let's kick on and take out the final and the ACL as well!
I bumped into the Mariners at sydney airport this evening (I've been in Fiji the last week so missed the game...thank god for Torrents)....the boys looked great and I took the opportunity to congratulate them...Kwassie, M<cBreen, Wee Max, Wilko, Pedj........well done team...fantastic news. And it will be even better to get the Plate at Bluetongue in 2 weeks time and should be just the thing to spur us on to a home grand-final !!!!!

We shouldn't complain about the Australian media when FIFA can't even get things right.

Australia’s A-League: Mariners finally land silverware

After numerous narrow failures, Central Coast Mariners claimed the first silverware of their seven-year existence. Finishing the league season at the top of the ladder enabled the Mariners to be crowned Premiers and also earn passage to next year’s AFC Champions League. A first goal at the club for Scot John Sutton was followed by Bernie Ibini’s winner as Graham Arnold’s survived a tense finale for a 2-1 win at Wellington Phoenix. Brisbane Roar, who will have the chance to retain their tag as champions during the looming play-offs, fell two points shy despite a 2-1 win against Gold Coast United, having at one stage been 11 points off the pace.

It IS a bit wierd that you can win the comp and not be champions. I look forward to a day when play-offs are no longer necessary, because there is a domestic cup comp and the ACL is wildly popular, but I imagine I will be quite old by then.

At first Arnie was reluctant to take it cause he said its not for him but the players and his staff. Then when he took it from Mel he said

"whats this note on the back here, it says please return to FFA. No it says please return to Ange at Suncorp"

That picture is when he is "reading" the note on the back

A great achievement for a man who many doubted; he has taken the Mariners to another level - I just hope he continues to do so for years to come.
