Winning the plate again is nice and all, but what I really want now is for the Mariners to win the Grand Final trophy.

Love this team so much. No Euro team could ever come close to my heart as this team. Great result and another top season. We are equal with Melbourne as the most consistent team in the history of the AL.

Great result, so proud of the boys. Very happy to have won the plate a second time. However I'm a Finals Fanatic, for me the job's only half done. I want the Bog Seat as well.

Talking of Euro teams, watched the fist half of Spurs/Chelsea last night, went to bed at the half, bored shitless. Give me Mariners any day.

What a fabulous season thus far.
To be a Mariner`s fan is the most fantastic roller coaster ride imaginable.
Our games/seasons are never over until the final whistle.
As a club we have had our problems this season,but our team has done us proud.
I can just imagine Matty Simon & Rostyn Griffith going nuts...they both deserve a medal along with all of our first team.

Also congrats to PT & the admin staff.You all show the fighting qualities that the "REAL" coast is famous for.

Screw the media though. Channel 9 played Sydney's win over Newcastle with NO mention of the Mariners winning the title. I switched to Ch7 but there was no soccer at all (unless I missed it). The ABC showed both games but the Sydney highlights were deemed the more important? WTF!

I called for the team to 'buck up' a few weeks ago and am very proud that they did. They showed the Mariners fighting spirit.

Huge plaudits to a fabulous squad. Everyone has helped this year. One of our best players all year has been McBreen but due to our depth he didn't get a run today...that typifies our spirit and depth.
