ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

comparison.. about a ratio of 4:3

I'd say closer to 10:1

2 Pitches

Half a dozen tennis courts. Surrounded by bush i'm not sure how far the clubs land goes into the bush.

I was told that site would be sold and development would take place somewhere in the industrial estate. That was two years ago.

If they council owns the bushland behind, dont be surprised to see it sold to the academy

2 key pieces of info in this:

1) Purchase by the JV of certain properties in Wyong?

2) Club name change to incorporate Mariners.

I wonder if we are finally so pissed off with CCF that we are going down another path?

Do a JV to get access to a club infrastructure (and taxation) build a training centre/small ground (a la Budgie) and then look to run a 2nd tier team of our own (NSWPL one day please).

Whats the betting that post matches etc get shifted?

Will we need to look at another affiliation for the Marinators club?

Seriously clever people running this club IMHO

Greenpoleffc  .... sorry mate but your last post looked like it was to folk with common knowledge to you ... is this want you meant

The Marinators move to the new club as the CCL clubs is not giving support ....... just not sure what you talking about.

Another thing is I was reading either last week or the week before that Wyong council was getting 1.3 million off the federal gov ....... the council they were going to build football fields in Tuggerah the article said ... could this all be part of the same deal.

Well this is going to happen.  There is land on the old pioneer dairy site that has been marked by the mariners for grounds.  It is down past bunnings, turning right and is land on the left hand side.  I agree with Brett in the description of what will be put on site at club Tuggerah.  Remembering also that the ground is very flood prone out the back however the land is ideally situated next to a railway station and if a 45k ground is going to go ahead it is the best spot for it.  Also, I think Tuggerah United will have to find a new home ground.  But I'm a little excited as I'm an RSL member and will be going to the meeting on 14th to certainly cast my vote and find out more.

This is over my back fence and it would be an injection greatly needed on the northern end of the coast.  I don't think that much more seating can be put in at Bluetongue due to the obstruction of views etc. at the Bay end it could only happen on the sides.  Anyway, bring it on.

So....we are talking about both the land and premises that Club Tuggerah is on, and behind that at Tuggerah Oval, AND the land that leads up to the power substation, once you go past Bunnings (turn right before the train station)? Isn't there mining subsidence issues with the land around the power substation as well as being flood prone?
