Was Mario an undercover Russian and we have pissed him off.

Bloke from the Sydney forum (who is usually a very good source) reckons they were interested but we couldn't make it work. The whole situation is quite familiar and resonates with the fact the current investors are too concerned about losing their money. I get the feeling we will hit rock bottom before Singo rescues us. Many certainly predicted it a long time ago.

Cannot see anything wrong with this logic.... TBH would much rather Singo if nothing else he is a CC person... given he owns the stadium the cost of stadium hire is in one pocket and out the other...

Rothfield: But they are saying they lose upwards of $25 million a year.

Lowy: Some clubs run their businesses with only a $750,000 deficit. And they are on top of the league. Other clubs spend millions more because the management isn't as good. If you run your club properly and don't overspend you can exist. With the next TV deal, our objective is to pay the clubs their salary cap or close to it.
