ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

No, not at all.  For every bad thing you hear about something, there may also be a good thing.

Kind of like when someone refers you to a doctor or a restaurant, for every person that says how fantastic they are, there's someone to say how terrible it was.

Well he knows you guys. He is hardly going to be rude to people he knows by name/face.

Not trying to take sides here btw sorry if it comes across like that

Doesn't come across that way.  You can see both sides of the discussion and voicing your opinion accordingly :)

. i acknowledge that ... because i had started to think it may be a female thing and/or recognition thing (as bear suggested)

. i was just providing a bit of input to dannysgirl (you'd think with a name like that ::)) and because it has been brought up before ... and people are usually shouted down 'cause "danny is a top bloke"

. maybe he felt intimidated dannysgirl  :p

I'm sure he can be nice when he wants to be. The friend that I was with on Sunday bumped into him at westfield one day, when he was on his own time, and he was happy to have a chat and photo etc and she said he was really nice.
Maybe standing out in the sun all day signing autographs gets a bit annoying after a while, who knows. The other time I met him was at mingas after the grand final, and I was willing to cut him some slack then cos I figured he was feeling pretty shitty after that red card.
But I don't know, after seeing his attitude to some of his fans on Sunday, makes me a bit sad to be honest.

Oh, and its good to know I'm not the only one who likes to rub Andre's head...makes me feel a bit less weird :D

. don't want this to keep going on, but i think in a crowd (lots of people after his attention) he tends to default to his comfort zone ... generally blokes and people he knows
