Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

If the players cant be bothered to go to post games, they can f**k off for these sort of events

My sentiments exactly. I still can't believe they can't walk over to the other side of the stadium and mingle for half an hour.

That is absurd, this is a "post-game"

If you cant be assed going on a day other than game day, then you cant complain about them. Day after the game is no doubt usually their day off.

I had fun. It was good to meet a few of the players and have a chat, they were more than happy to get a photo, sign a shirt nd talk about the game. Took advantage of the opportunity to get some sigs, I got a shirt and a ball signed by the whole team which i will be looking at framing and keeping in a good spot as this squad will be champions of 08/09.

We have a great club and today made me realise what the Coast has and what most A-League teams dont.

great day
my highlights
Lawrie: awesome, really nice to little girl we had with us (friend of family) and was funny on stage!

O'grady: when the reptile was brought towards him "Shit!"rofl

Gumprecht: He remembered me from SEU presentation and asked if I am coaching with SEU next year. Thats simply amazing to me. The fact that he remembered (I mean hey I am a very distinctive person) not only that he saw me- but where as well + even remembering I was one of the coaches

Macca: Does the guy ever stop smiling- just awesome. He asked me how Arsenal went (as did Lawrie and a few others)(I wore an Arsenal shirt as my mariners shirt was in my hand)

Last but not least- I finally met Elrich :D
When we came around for the autographs he wasnt there and I was dissapointed.
20 mins later I caught him walking towards mariners tables
I shouted out to him and greeted him. He was really nice.
Talked to him on 3 occasions and thanked him for being a good rolemodel growing up- how good he was. He didnt like my arsenal shirt- he said Man UTD!!!

20 mins later I was goin thru gettin photo's (at the end)
Got to Sasho- Elrich was other side of tables and shouted out "Sasho- take good care of him"- yew!
Then 2 mins later with Clarkey- he started ot leave and I called out to him- Ahmad saw this and shouted out to clarkey "this is my cousin" yew!

My sister and I were very impressed (she likes Elrich a lot now) and he is probably my fav player
Good day- and one of the reasons I love our community club!

Another good afternoon.  Good to see the players there getting involved.  Some more than others.  But we're all different people, and I know we all appreciate them giving up their time for us.

I preferred being able to go around and finding them like we did last year at Mingara.  Would have solved that big queue.  Also it was like a big treasure hunt, the kids really liked it.  Anyone know why we were at Bluetongue and not Mingara?

It's events like this that prove what a community minded club we are.

Big thanks to Boogs for coming up and having a chat before he headed off and started signing.

Sounds like a great day. Really wish I'd been able to come. Good on the Mariners for getting involved.

Had a good day.  Seemed smaller than the first Christmas get together.  Marinators stand was awesome.  Yellow and blue look so good together.  Didn't get a chance to see all the players but Pedj and D'appuzzo(?) came over to the Marinators stand.  Pedj remembered McGoo or Waterboy from a school training session as he claimed to be a Sydney fan (idiot)and must of annoyed the shift out of him; as he can well an' truely.

They looked good in Marinators Caps.  Thanks guys for trialling them

Need to teach these kids to sing.  Even Jimmy wouldn't join in.  We are Marinators every day of the week not just on football day. :)

Have a great Christmas everyone see u boxing day.

Sometimes it's good to sing, eg. during a match, but sometimes it's good not to sing, eg. most other times.

Well done to those involved in dressing up the marinators marquee ( a new marinators club acquisition that will be used for dinamo games, xmas, other special events) and a bloody beauty it is too! Great buy Fish!
The whole set up looked awesome and very professional or at least 'passionate'!

i went to training with Arsenal shirt- didnt finish til 12pm and didnt want to go home 1st so came straight there. Changed to mariners shirt but then realised it would be easier taking mariners shirt in hand to get signed then wearing it!
