ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Happy to answer this for you all and the bloke above is right the $3.1 wasnt a 1 man effort there several people involved. Three of us wrote the submission and lobbied O'Farrell and Annersley as well as local MP's.

I am happy to say that after 3.5 years I needed a break. I didnt do everything right and made several mistakes but I am proud of the renovations at Pluim and the fact that I lobbied the FFA and FNSW and worked with the Mariners to get our rep teams into Premier league.

It takes a lot of hours in a voluntary capacity to do that role. Doing draws, answering complaints etc. Not complaining and I enjoyed the whole experience and may throw my hat in the ring again some day but just wanted to take a breather.

There are some good people at CCF who put in a lot of work to make it tick. That also goes for those that came before us. I didnt always agree with them but they gave there time for the game and for that they will always have my respect.

As for the headlock the week before, that was a seperate thing and a complete brain explosion for which I am not proud. I got elbowed and retailiated and as a referee of 26 years I should know better and I will cop my punishment at the Judiciary like anyone else who plays.

Cheers

what he should receive is the same as everybody else, on this occasion he is Darren Sprod player, and I am sure he is embarrassed by his actions.
And no doubt Darren alot goes into being Chairman of CCF, and as you say alot of people worked for that grant to come to bein, your re-election was only 6 months ago (i think) so it seems surprising after only just being elected again that your resignation comes through.

i saw the massive elbow he copped and the following altercation
thought it was a double headlock
the other player had him in a bearhug like headlock and his face was going red
dont even think the right player got red carded for the elbow (unsure)
ref was a newby who looked unsure of the rules
kudos to the young kid assistant who looked to tell the ref what to do

Thanks for your honesty and well done to the Association for Plum Park... only recently moving to the Coast and spent all my playing time in Gladesville Hornsby Association and as a committee member from a local club can appreciate your comments pertaining to the amount of work you do in those roles... and can offer no local knowledge of the CCA but again thanks for your open and honest reply...

We are talking soccer here aren't we? Cause if that's touch or league then that's just f**king unacceptable.
