They're ditching the grassroots line, that's where the main stock excess is. They've dumped loads of it on gray's online.

Even though Musti is clearly unfit, we look a better side with him on the pitch

i think with all the trouble where having scoring goals . i think we should start playing rogic at striker
and amni behind .they are the best shooters in the club and need the most possible minutes on the park.
thats the best combination i see with sutton or mcbreen .
kaws is ordinary and was lucky not to get a red card .i'd be handing his shirt to duke

Despite screaming obscenities at the PC every time we turned over the ball cheaply, or chose the wrong option up front, I find myself rather pleased with our effort and the result.

I thought we were for the most part, pretty compact in defence as we had been all season(until recently). And some of the midfield work looked good.

Watching the stream on haha.com, I found myself agreeing with the overseas commentary. It was entertaining hearing the commentators getting it so wrong with the pronunciations (Bozanic = Bosnich) and our squad makeup (Rogic needs Amini to leave to get a place in the team).

Sadly we were a very blunt instrument up front. No surprises there since Matt Simon left. Interestingly, no use of Sutton. I'd have thought that, despite his less than impressive performances to date, he would relish playing in 'Scottish-like' conditions = freezing your nuts off.

MOM for me was Hutcho. Very composed effort.

Agree with the commentary on Pedj. He really needs to change his medication!

Special kudos to the travelling Yellow Army. A long way to go for a 0-0 draw. But I'm sure they had a great tour.

Hutch was a colossus. Super effort, great tempo play and was constantly available in tight spots. the only time he loses the ball is when he punts a longer ball - his short passing is great and he gets play moving forward very effectively.
+1 MoM for me. Our midfield worked really well and he was the key; very much the central cog in a well-oiled machine.

And a special mention for Matty Ryan. This young kid is the 'ant's pants'. Such composure and focus from one so young. His distribution is world class. F@#king unbelievable.

Every one talks about Musti and Rogic but for me Ryan is the 'special one'.

Sorry for the ignorance - new to the Forum.
Is there a thread about fans going to Japan for the May 15 game against Nagoya Grampus? 4 of us are going in our family group.
I have a Blog Tony's Japan football Blog going about previous soccer trips, and this one coming up. No apologies for being a Sydney FC fan!

Apparently we are considering a lone front man with Amini and Rogic in behind...
And who will be this lone man? Kwasnik...no! McBreen...no! Sutton...no! Bernie...no!
Troy Hearfield...yes!
Counter attacking formation much? Interesting thoughts by Arnie...and I don't mind a good counter attacking system (Germany style :p)

All just TWG speculation...

Indeed Bloggo, blatant cheating by the Japs. That free kick early in the game where Pedj was a yard from the diver was comical. Should never have been a free that lead to their goal either. At least they picked up Kennedy's back play punch on Dutchy.

We're playing quite well. Lovely interchanges in the middle, but still slightly ineffective up front. Play like this in NZ and we should do Wellington.

I think we've found our striker - Dutchy! Pity he's such a great defender!
