I haven't heard his interview but I can imagine what pissed him off. The goal call was outrageous - nowhere near over the line... except that it was Wanderers so therefore it was way over.

It's the sort of decision you'd expect against the Mariners but not against them.

Fair goal to me - couldn't happen to a nicer Irishman!!

I could see well enough from the close front angle that no more than half the ball was over the line.

Fair bit more of it to travel to be a goal.

I saw it as being part over the line when it hit the post and travelled further before it was hooked out. I called it as a goal from the tv view which was not as good as the linesman.
The point I make is that VAR is irrelevant trying to make a call on these decisions if the camera is not in line with the ball. It is the same with the trap offside calls when VAR makes millimetre decisions from shit angles.
