ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!
If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.
ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.
Please, all stars is not important at all. Any player would rather the GF instead of this farcical promotion of who knows. If we make the gf as some on here have suggested then we may be without any players (such as cumdog & kye) that get selected for the a-league all stars team.A-League All Stars: How it works

The same author has a major interview with Monty which should be out this morning.I think the author is amazing, although anyone can make a mistake with the details in their haste to get to press sometimes.
The analysis, however, is breathtakingly insightful and accurate.

It has been a long road from his days as a player in the English Premier League to head coach of the A-League's Central Coast Mariners for Nick Montgomery.www.ftbl.com.au
very insightful article, I think we are truly lucky to have had someone like Monty around the club

There's a news article Wilkshire is coming across to the Mariners, anyone have any knowledge of his role with us?
When they were honouring junior clubs at the FA cup final, I think he listed his as Whitkirk Wanderers so I guess Whitkirk or somewhere in that vicinity. Having read the pretty negative description he gave in the above interview (and at risk of causing offence to your missus or anyone else!), the one that springs to mind is Halton MoorMy wife is from Leeds and is curious which suburb Monty grew up in anyone know?
