Can I assume that the ladies team is not going ahead for the cove/marinators game as no one has said anything?

Well the first thing is whether there's a time when you girls are actually able to have a run. There were nearly 20 boys down at Lisarow on Sunday - I'd suggest there needs to be a bit of a run before the day to work out who plays where etc.

I'd also suggest that 10 players is simply not enough. You're going to need 12-15 at a bare minimum I would guess. My sister who was a maybe to make 11 is definitely not going in the list as she's buggered herself up in half-marathon training and then completing the run on Sunday.

The last point is that we're not even nailed down for a ground yet, and if we don't get that then we're not having even a boys game on October 5.

Unlikely the girls game is going ahead - I believe we only have 9 so far (Melsy can no longer make it for the game ).

Would love it if we could get 15 girls along to play but it seems a bit late to find more now..but if anyone knows somebody who might be interested, at any skill level, let us know please!

Even if this doesnt go ahead it may be worth keeping names together and getting ready for any other Ladies or Mixed Marinator games that come up.
