Bit of a joke, too. I've been making stupid little stabs all through the thread.

My mate actually lives up the road from that field and said there is always dog shows and what not going on there.

I think Jimmy wants to organise something at Kanwal. It would be good to play there... perfect pitch.

Cricket season has started so most posts would be taken down by now. Would have to play at school grounds or pluim.

Killarney Athletics while not the best pitch, it is mowed regularly and always has posts up. Permission to use it would need to be sought and nets would be a must. But it's an option if we could get it marked out...

Cove offered to host this game today as it corresponded with our teams fixture at the SFS. They had no problems organising it and I would've happily organised had Cove of come to us, but todays fixture and the long weekend it just made more sense to play in Sydney- unfortunately they couldn't get a ground and thats all it came down to.

Its now in our hands to organise the game on the coast.We need two things, a ground; and lisarow might not be the best location as 1) its not a central location for the travelling sydney players and 2) there is no post game venue we can have drinks at and watch an a-league match. (although it is a trusty fallback option should we not be allowed CCLC park)
The second thing we need is a date that doesn't clash with any of our home fixtures or sydney's home fixtures.
