ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

I know I shouldn't look ahead too far (shouldn't count chickens etc), but am I correct in assuming that the GF will be played on Sunday 22nd April (raher than Sat) whether it's hosted by us or by Brisbane?

And does anyone have any info (reliable or otherwise) on whether it would be at BT if we host, or would it be moved to Sydney?

Fishsdad, there's a whole poll/thread speculating about Bluetongue as a Grand Final venue. Have a browse in the Central Coast Mariners FC forum it's not hard to find.

TB - did you actually expect that:
A. memberships covered your finals tickets, or;
B. finals tickets were not sold at a premium over regular season tickets?

If so, where have you been? You clearly didn't attend or don't remember the finals series in 2006, 2008, 2009 or 2011 when members had priority access to tickets and they were priced at a premium over regular season tickets.

This is consistent with the AFL, NRLand frankly any other sport you care to mention. There's nothing new or outrageous about it.

If you can't make it, that's a shame, but if you expect them to do suddenly include the tickets in memberships for no extra cost you're kidding yourself.

TB....are you on roids or goey?

FFA are c**ts and have been since season 1. They would rather gouge a few bucks than act for the good of the game....that has ALWAYS been their mentality. Why are you blaming the Mariners for it?

you should have read what i sent to the FFA! i don't blame the club but the clear disconnect
in accomadation for regular season punters to semi's is appauling.
the club has a responsiblity to the punters that are their bread and butter. to stand up and make
the optains that are avalible to the fans in regular season available for the semi's .especilly when you've begged for early payment because you think your sitting on the edge of the shitter and are about to fall in.
to come up with 100 bucks + a week after shelling out 600 is reprehensible for the FFA and for the mariners to ask.

TB - there was a monthly payment option over 6 months.

. and what, you didn't know it was coming?

. i think the way the club has handled the tickets is great. so what that i paid a bit early - i didn't have to pay for acl tickets which we have in the past ... plus i get 'my' seats for the acl which we couldn't get in the past

. the finals system seems a tad more fair than previously as well because you can only buy the tickets you are entitled to today so no other member can buy 'your' seats during the exclusive period

Ticket bought - but can anyone confirm that the 'GA unreserved' printed on our 'same seat only' reserved tickets just bought is just a Ticketek stuff up or will we have to bring our season tickets to prove that they are for our own seats?

phoned ticketek and got thro easy enough
GA tickets are temporary tickets that cant be used for entry
just acknowledgement of purchase

we will receive proper admission tickets after 5pm tomorrow via email with proper seating details
after ticketek gives the pax numbers to the mariners and they in return give them our seating details

Much appreciate your explanation - there was nothing in the Ticketek email explaining that, and if it was on the screen I didn't notice it. All good.

I'd be a little wary ordering on-line. I tried to do so and was allocated seating on the Eastern side rather than on the Western where we normally sit. When I called Ticketek instead I was told that my seats weren't available, and it was only when I pushed and said that we've been told as members that we can keep our seats that things changed (after 5 minutes on hold while she checked).

I won't be convinced that we have our normal seats until I'm sitting in them on the day, but at least I have tickets I suppose...

It was the usual finals tickets farce that happens every year with the FFA, but at least I've learned to expect it by now :)

As long as im in the stadium at kickoff i dont care where i sit, if i have to hang from a palm tree behind the scoreboard i dont care :p

The Mariners deserve our support and the community really should be getting behind the boys on Sunday the 8th. The radio stations (2GO and Sea FM i think correct me if im wrong) should be advertising this game like crazy. Tell your friends, family, neighbours, strangers to get to Bluetongue on the 8th and cheer the boys to our first ever home GF.

Just spent 20 mins on phone for tix. Receipt to be sent by email as proof of purchase. Use membership tix for seats. Seems easy still waiting for email and inevitable stuff up

Machine on the end of the phone kept asking if I wanted tickets for the swimming championships to be held at Bluetongue stadium on 8th April. :headbutt:

Maybe they know something about the weather on that day. :piralaugh:
