ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

I was wondering if anyone knows how the Mens Premier League Teams, North & South are selected and also which Premier League Teams will be classed as North and which will be classed as South.

The best 16 players from the north will be picked for the north and the best 16 players from the south will be picked for the south.

North-

The Entrance, Berkeley Vale, Kanwal, Budgewoi

South-

Wyoming, East Gosford, Terrigal, Umina, Avoca,Kincumber

Wyoming, East Gosford, Umina and Kincumber are going to make a pretty strong team. They all have some pretty solid individuals.

I'm assuming North will get Damien Brown.

Thursday the 17th Of June
Central Coast Mariners v Central Coast Lightning
Charity Match

Central Coast Football will be hosting a charity match featuring the Central Coasts very own Hyundai A-League side the Central Coast Mariners and NSW Super League side the Central Coast Lightning. The match will be held at Pluim Park Lisarow and kicks off at 8pm.

Preceeding this match is another exciting new fixture to add to the calendar. Two squads will be selected from the local FMS Premier League and will showcase their talents in an effort to be selected in the Number 10 Teamwear Premier League Select. These two squads will be selected on where they currently play in the FMS Premier League and be split along the council boundaries North (Wyong Shire Council) v South (Gosford City Council). Kick of is at 6pm.

Nathan, why is this being played on a Thursday night?
Just about every team trains on a Tuesday and Thursday night, making it hard for fans to attend.

Seems a bit stupid to me...

That was a tough one for us, we had to fit in with the Mariners schedule we were given two dates. The 16th was the original date but State of Origin made is impossible to schedule on that date. The Mariners schedule is very very tight this year!

Ok. Thanks for clearing that up.
Luckily I am my own team's coach. I guess I will have to just call training off that that night.
Cheers.

Am hoping to have Tues and Thurs up and running by then.... so training that night will be a theory training session ;)

As for training nights, it often depends on the club and what nights the grounds are available.

Assuming watching the World Cup games will come under 'theory training' too?
