ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Let's get Bosnich!!

If Danny gets banned for the amount of time that he is supposed to, then has anyone thought about who we MIGHT sign as a replacement until he returns? I heard that Mark Bosnich was "training the house" down over in England (At QPR I think) and was wondering what other people think about getting him on loan to give him some match practice and fitness. He has bags of experience, talent e.t.c

What do other people think? Who else might we buy to replace Danny? Rene Higuita, Jose Luis Chilavert....

too much money, not enough would come back. i'd rather be signing another aussie keeper, someone like a nash who did well for sydney against perth early this season and who i think trains with JC already.

no thanks, not the kind of image we want associated with our club - plus lets look to the future not the past... he WAS a great keeper but there is enough talent out there to keep it local

Or better yet, if Velaphi isnt under contract, then maybe he would need some decent coaching from crawley for the Olympics and then he can repay the favor for the first few rounds

isn't Bosnich aussie ?

how about a ex -Gosford boy - Jess Vanstrattan?  i guess he likes the paycheck at Juve, but doesn't get much of a game.

Bosnich would fail the 'no dickhead' test surely.

and the drug test.

Schwarzer is off contract at the end of this year..
Velaphi would be good if he had more match practice and experience

yes, bozza is aussie, and vanstratten has more rumours linking him with the jets than us, at least in fan-land.

i think nash or a similar player would be a better option, simply because they know what they're here for, the money required isn't ridiculous and we should be developing young kids who haven't had a big go yet and shaping them for a big career - much as we have done for danny. remember he came to us as a pretty raw teenager, and now he's a wonderful keeper.

Bosnich???

Drug dealers are a bit further up the F3 (allegedly).

Do they do substance abuse tests to enter Mexico??

There are apparent negotiation problems between Roar and Reddy. Worth a shot? I say yes.

roar - "Reddy, f**k off you are a wanker"

Reddy - "No I'm not"

Roar - "Yes you are, what about Sully's leg?"
