ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

it's like a death in the family

You tell him to savour the moments, treasure the good times & save the memories.
When one door closes another opens, just like when Danny left & JVS got injured, Matt Ryan got his chance.
As Matt Simon closes the door (hopefully it doesn`t lock)it now opens the another door for the likes of Mitchell Duke.

Time will go on,players will come & go,the one constant that we all need is the MARINERS,the club itself.

Without sounding rude, can you please elaborate a bit more? I don't understand what you have written, but I am interested.

it's simple if i left my current job to go to the mine fields .they'll pay about 3 times as much or more than i get now .i thought most people understood what the mines pay.

you said 'he took the local job'
i'm guessing you meant 'i took the local job'...
as opposed to Simon who took the foreign job (ie. not the local job)

Simon has chosen wisely to extend himself and his career opportunites playing overseas.
True believer could go to the mines and earn a motza but does not as it would involve moving from home.
True believer's 8 year old son said that he(the son) would choose to stay in a job in his local area and earn less money.
