ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

I'll give you a small clue..................

Bosnich on loan together with DY isnt that silly an idea if you look at it from a publicity/marketing viewpoint.

Well, it turns out that LG's little visit was for the Sheffield deal... well, I think that is what it would have been when he said it was for other business... but I guess you can't rule out the chance that he did meet with the Smiling Assassin.

Coffee Club sponsor CCM as well, there's more than just the Kwasnik thing.
Does that mean we have to wear that ugly black square on our chests like the Snore??? Thats Hideous.

No what I was saying was that there's more to it than the Kwasnik thing but they're one of many Mariners sponsors that aren't shirt sponsors.

No, they're not our Major sponsor.

They actually sponsored us before QLD.

Ursus - are you saying its a done deal?

I only know what I read here and in the papers.

However, I know we need some more creativity on the park. I also have read that Dwight wants to get involved in coaching. Forget the the tabloid press tales of parties, he is a totally dedicated professional. We are going to have a junior squad next year, we have an academy that the Mariners want to make world class.

Think of the kids who would be lining up to get in. Think of the positive publicity the club would attract.

Now if you were Lyall and/or Peter, wouldn't you be seriously chasing him?

I suspect/hope they are close.

Good, valid points, Ursus. I, myself, have mentioned them a number of times in the various discussions surrounding him. I can't think of any negatives about signing him. our youth team and academy would be massive, and far surpass the other clubs trying to imitate our plans for the future.

I was one of those people arguing how good he would be for us back when that article came out mid season. I agree It would be a great buy and I hope (and trust) that we are very VERY VERY BLOODY close to finalising this one....

Agree, Dwight would be a massive coup, on all fronts. Playing and coaching, Kids will be lining up from Balmain to buladelah to have a shot at our youth academy youd think.

Being a Big Man U fan (my parents lived ten minutes from Old trafford), and watching him regularly as a kid, it would be nearly surreal to see him in the Yellow and navy. The man's work ethic is ridiculously good, the presence he would have around the club would be massive.

We all love TommyP, but he is in Tard heaven now, and I think the creativity/ foresight Dwight would bring to field, even at his age would surpass anything we have had previously, and with speed down the wings,we would see a very mobile, fast Mariners in V4.

I hope this happens... Would make the loss os Aloisi easy...WHO??
