ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

How it can work out

Thanks Sensei - it's also to pay back the support those 2 Melbourne fans who were in Bay 16 last night offered us.  I'm pretty sure most of those travelling Melbourne fans wouldn't mind having us there cheering them on either....... and then a quick run next door at full time to watch the QLD/Adelaide game.  Could be a very very interesting Sunday night.

Anyone else keen to go down to this, let me know - would be fun to organise a travelling party of 50 or so to cheer on a Sydney loss.

Good news regardless...Next season we score the extra home game for finishing in the top 4 :)

it swaps season to season - melbourne only played 10 home matches this year, sydney only played 10 last year.

that could work too - you in?

Probably the Fox and Lion - so we can celebrate the minor premiership in front of the Sydney fans.  Unless it all gets a bit nasty, we can just go to the Captain Cook or KB instead.  Figure it out on the night I reckon.

So who's definitely going??

I assume we'll be in the away fans end so this is just a suggestion - shout me down if you must... but... can someone post a message on the Victory forum to see what they think about the Yellow army showing up to their game? Whilst we are cheering for a Sydney loss, colours are colours and they might not appreciate a bunch of yellow celebrating the fact we are in top spot (hopefully) whilst the Victory are out of the finals. I think it's worth finding out to avoid any trouble on the night. Let's face it... there probably will be trouble between the tards and the bling anyway.

PS, I'd post the question myself but their site is not allowing me to register for some reason.

i dont see whats so wrong about not wanting your fan base to involve people hanging off it wearing a completely different teams colours/merch

Just started a thread on their forum asking what the official (so to speak) stance on us potentially being down their end on Sunday....... will let you know what the responses are.

if you didn't have a whole big thing against merch in any circumstances, you'd be taken more seriously.

nevertheless, i think the spot on the other side of the tunnel from the tards is the better spot. i'd suggest maybe keeping colours covered until such time as we look like winning the league would be good. ;)

if sydney go and win 5-0 then we might look a little silly.

If that happens I will eat my scarf.  Sydney have only beaten them once, and I can't see them adding to that - Melbourne will be in "we're out to f*ck up your season as much as we can" mode.  Not to mention that they hate them, and quite frankly, that form against Wellington was scary.  If they keep that up (AND PLAY KAZ) then they'll do Sydney over by 2 or 3 goals.
