ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Andrew - not only will I start a song, but a POSITIVE song.  About Hutcho.  I will also go apeshit ballistic when we score a goal, as opposed to my usual "Bresciano" statue celebration.

Surely you couldn't miss that once in a lifetime event??  Surely??  Explain to the missus just how rare such a thing is??

Or you could have one of those quicky 24 hour divorces??  Get re-married on Sunday and invite us all along for free booze??

Send a life size cardboard cut out in your place.

Or, assuming that it's the recpetion that is on at the same time as the game and not the wedding compromise by going to the wedding then miss the reception. quite possibe to send the cardboard cutout along so no one realises. ;)

If all else fails make sure this never happens again by recieving text updates during the game and making inappropriate reactions in the middle of speaches. Maybe some thing along the lines of which orrifice Farina can place tiatto or for added shock value point out Farina is more inept than Arnold. :D

Thanx Dru,

Txt updates arranged.

Reception starts at 6:30 in Parra so I dont think I can get Mick and the boys that far out so cant even have a sneaky listen.

A friend or relatives wedding I could just about live with but this pathetic brown nosing to a boss is not on.

Failed excuses so far:

1) I'm not going, get stuffed (epic fail)

2) I think I'm sick

3) Cant you sack her by the weekend?

4) I need to go and just make sure my children have somone around in case they need it?

5) It'll be a waste of my membership

6) I might get pissed and show you up in front of your staff

Get pissed on the day & tell her you'd probably end up vomiting on someone's boss, or flirting with the office junior if you went.

The missus will be disgusted with you, you won't have any sort of intimacy with her for 3 months, but at least you'll be excused from going to the do, and able to go to the match!

Whoa.

Calm down there Druboy.

Not saying it's true, just trying to help make sure he isn't invited to these things again on game day.  ;)
