ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

No idea, Redmayne had nothing to do when he came though but looked very comfortable taking the ball in the air. Trott ... you have to laugh or you'd go insane

6 yellow cards (4 for us).

Shield, you dozy tosser, there wasnt really a bad foul in the game. The sooner you go the better.

At least he didnt miss any blantant handballs tonight. Probably coz the scum werent playing.

dont be so bias. he had a good game. one of the best i have seen from a HAL referee.

Fair point, watched the 1st half and Jedi's was for sure.

Did anyone else notice some subtle changes in style last night. We seemed much more prepared to play it out from the back and build slowly. Every time we passed the ball ON THE f**kING GROUND we looked a very classy side.

Tobin at work already perhaps???

Yeah, I thought Shield did pretty well. There's a lot of paranoia on these forums and to be honest I'me sick of it. I like the passion but FFS be balanced and cut some slack. You get some and you lose some. And don't bring up the handball. That's gone, move on and get over it. It happens. Refs make mistakes and far less than players do.

I actually think the reffing standard is better than the playing standard overall (get's ready for a pizzling). I'd prefer the focus on fundamental player errors which happens about 6:1 (probably higher but I'll go with that) than that of refs.

The difference being: when a player screws up, it costs him and his side - something that is expected; when a ref screws up, it costs a completely innocent party.

. indicative of the opposition perhaps???

. our passing game has always been there, but disappears under pressure ... and most opposing teams play accordingly

No guns!!!!!! i really do mean the undisciplined Melbourne Victory who cant have 11 men on the pitch for 90 minutes. Your luck has run out guns! :piano: :tv: :vhappy: :piralaugh:

Osman was very good on the weekend. Porter and osman look like they are forming a good combination on the right. Interesting to see if Clarkey will get back in when fully fit!
