using chrome .
based on unhinged rants and being sent to the corner by mrs tb.
feel free to throw rocks

on slowly entering the "a league men screen"

hitting "watching now" highlighted in blue . will get you mctappin v roar R1

slide the cursor down to "live schedule" then press enter (do it slow)

once you have the games menu .you need a red dot in the top right corner to access game .

if the red dot is not there .leave by hitting the "<-" button " DO NOT HIT THE BUTTON THAT LOOKS LIKE A HOUSE .

once back to the apps menu .disconnect chrome for 30 seconds .reconnect and wait 30 seconds

then slowly go back to paramount . and try again using the above steps

when ever you finish a game. leave the "a league" screen with the back "<-" button

Chrome casting Paramount Plus works like a dream for me every night. If you "travel" to another country, you can watch on crystal clear youtube WITH rewind (bloke on Reddit said he thought that was an expensive option - oh dear)

Opera browser has a free built in VPN too (or used to)

Yeah OperaGX still has one inbuilt but I use a dedicated service as most things detect the inbuilt one and block what you're trying to circumvent.

No app on LG smart TV. Annoying. Paramount via Amazon app on LG tv has buffering issues regardless of my internet speed. Paramount via Optus fetch usually streams ok but often has other issues for me, and is poorly laid out, so usually end up watching the game on my lap top in chrome browser. Always fine there.

Bought my father a Firestick.

Waiting for replays is my biggest bug bear though. The average 12 year old youtuber seems to be much more proficient at servicing their clients.

Same. The Hisense app store is junk.
Chromecast or firestick is probably your best option

We have one of those little Telstra tv boxes that I have in the other room, could just move it I guess but yeah for the price of one of those gadgets it’s probably worth just getting a chrome cast or something.
I hate giving money to the murdochs but having everything on Foxtel/Kayo sure is a hell of a lot more convenient haha

Highly recommend the Chromecast, it's the best as all the apps are first designed for Android as they have the biggest market share. Found it to be much more user friendly for those with less tech know how too. The HD one is also only $49.00, and if you want it primarily for A-League Paramount don't display better quality than that.

This is mainly about getting the game to even start, @true believer? I always have trouble. Finding the damn aleage bit in the first place as it's hidden. Then when you get ALeague and hit watch, some random replay comes on. Why isn't it shown in a prominent location and the first thing should be whatever is live right now?? Once I find it and get it playing it's ok. Until near the end when the bars at the ground shut and it asks me if I'm still watching. YES. YES I AM.

I fkn haaaaate that are you still watching when there's about 5 mins left and you panic to find the remote instead of watching the fkn game. Extremely lazy programming to not know how long a game lasts. Bastards!

I also hate the fact that if I'm watching using the App on my phone in landscape mode then i accidentally move the phone and it goes back to portrait it won't go back to landscape again. I have to close the app, reopen it, find the game again, etc.

No issues using the built in app on Sony TV

This has to be my biggest gripe with the whole app itself as it only ever seems to show up on an A-League match, never when you're watching a movie or anything else... like shit, it should just play out and then the TV go to sleep after what ever you've set your tv time out to be AFTER the games finished (speaking mostly about Android TV's)

However, when watching a match replay, it doesn't occur so you're right about lazy programming in this regard... total mishit and I agree that it does have you scrambling for the remote missing possible valuable game time considering that you cannot pause or rewind in this dumpsterfire excuse of a "service".

Still I much rather "travel" and watch the game via Keepup's youtube channel they stream for international viewers, you just dont get pre game, half time or post game talks... BUT!! you do get the ability to pause, rewind and catch back up to live which is a major win for me TBH.

I'm apart of a Paramount Users Facebook Group and this happens regularly not only on A-League content.

It's mind boggling how a company worth literally billions of dollars can serve up an app catastrophically worse than NPL TV. Which is run by local start up on the smell of an oily rag.
