Anyone else attending?
We need to back up after last week against an average perth side or last weeks game will count for nothing more then bragging rights
keep same starting side!

Mmmm actually a pretty tough one.

I think Kwassie has earned a spot in the starting line up.
And so has Musty... But I'd be keen to see Perez play closer to 60 minutes this week...
Musty is great, but I think Patricio is still a class above of MOST HAL players at present, so we need to get him onto the park
and into the side. The temptation then becomes to look at a 4141 as I've spoken of before, but our 442 has worked so well and the players seem to have a strong understanding...
So I'm really not sure what the best call is...???

Be interesting to see what GA does.

Also as discussed elsewhere, the bench possy's are far from easy to decide also?

if Perez is fit, starting him should be a no brainer. Heck, I am in love with Amini (he has been my facebook profile pic for the last month) but 50-60 minutes from Perez +30-40 minutes of Musty beats the other way around.

Matty and The Kwas up front, keeping the 442

Knowing Pedj, he will be 100% by this game (its good for business if nothing else), so we don't really need Doig. Bench of Hutch, Amini, McBreen, Henderson (is he still with us - when does his stint end?)

Arnie stated at the press conference after the game that he wants to remain with two up front and believes that Amini and Perez cannot be on the pitch at the same time.

As far as the starting lineup is concerned, my opinion is "if it ain't broke, don't fix it."
Perez would still be a bit underdone match fitness-wise, so still on the bench for him this week. Musty will tear them apart for 60 and then Patricio to come in against a tiring defence, the mouth waters.
The other subs I'd have Doig and Hutch (and Hendo of course). Don't need McBreen - both strikers did the 90 comfortably last week, although I thought Kwassie was blowing a bit by the finish. He'll be better for the run though. Until McBreen gets rid of his laziness, I don't want to see him. If the worst scenario comes about you can chuck Hutch up front - at least he's prepared to work hard, and he can score.
If one of our back 4 needed to be replaced, Doig is the obvious person for the job. Hutch can cover the mids & at a pinch up front, whereas McBreen is only a striker, so Hutch is better value.
That's my two-bobs worth.

We can speculate all we want on who is better value on the bench and which starting strikers could complete the full 90 but I promise you all, Mcbreen will be on the bench ATLEAST! No one goes from starting striker for 18 or so games, to the bench and then loses a spot in the squad, he will be there, so will Hutch, Doig is gone

I`m with you Spike.
IMO last weekends side was magic in the firt half.
So,I`d leave it as it is. Give McBreen another week to think about his stupidity.
See how Musty is going before bringing Perez on.
I feel sorry for Doig but at this stage nobody deserves to lose there spot.
It`s a great sitution to be in, even the bench players are feeling the pressure.

It would be pretty dumb to have 2 middies and no defenders on the bench would it not????

Very weird call.

What is that based on? Hutch and McBreen's great form? The fact that Doig is the only defender so best to drop him?
This forum had been far too sensible for a while...good job weve gone back to fluent bollocks again this week.

Obviously the bench should be Hendo/Doig/Perez (Amini deserves first run after last week) and then logically McBreen would be on the bench in front of Hutcho (because he's shit up front).

I have the same bench as we need defensive cover and if we need to replace Rostyn then we can drop Matty back into the mids and Perez or Kwassie can replace any of the other 3. It also means we have some great attacking options on the bench if needed.
