ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Give Gumps another year!

Ossman was just beginning to find his form again towards ther end of the season. He has great control and will be a loss. Fergie's gain.

more like Miron's gain

ossie will be a huge loss if he stays fit   :piralaugh: :piralaugh: - he is technically one of the best players in the mariner's squad and his work off the ball is very underestimated

What does that say about the rest of the squad?

that he is technically better than most of them

your point being?
Osman is shit! As i he'll get a run at all at GCU

Well argued ::)

Ossie has a touch, pass and particularly ability to strike the ball that are consistently better than the average ability of where the squad is at. That's his strength and it will show if he can get consistent time on the pitch, and that's Mick's point.

Although you have shot that theory to pieces with your blinding logic...

Osman is one of our most versatile and hard working players.

Until his knee injury last year he was easily our stand out midfielder and I am constantly amazed that people cant see his ability.

Our loss their gain I fear

Osman will do at fullback/wingback next year with GCU. Expect him around the first-team each week.

Osman is an insipid type of player.  He has some ablilty but lacks the confidence of a champion.

As an oppossing player he would be very easy to dominate.

For mine he will always be a squad player at best.  Same as when Kwas left (to fail in NZ) I suspect Osman will also be shown to be not up to the required standard...once out in the big bad world away from Lawrie's bosom.

His best patch for us was at right back when he was successful a few years ago.

Not fit to be mentioned in the same breath as Gumps.

this is a forum - it means you don't need to agree with my views and i certainly don't have to agree with yours. which is a lucky thing for everyone, i suspect.

He would be a starting midfielder in the Shittest players in the a league. A complete liability at times this year! Stoked he's gone or going...

God we missed Gumps last night!!!

Caceras was the only middie with the required quality and he didn't get much of a run.

Huke has a decent work rate but certainly isn't Jedi.  Osman and Heffernan were very average.

Hutcho was just rubbish.

Ive scrolled through the link and most have forgotten the gumps holds the same coaches ticket as LM.  THATS the rub. He should be in charge (captain coach)  of the youth team as well as an impact squadie. However that scenario would leave someone looking over his shoulder.
