Pass accuracy? Could be better, could be worse. Considering how many needle threaders he actually plays I think it's ok.

I would much rather a creative player like him try those passes than carry a higher % playing safe. You obviously want better from a CB or DM but anyone in the front third needs to be willing to take chances rather than walk it in. They also dont have the luxury of recycling the ball to pad stats.

Castro has performed the best of the 4.

After that Marcos s very comparable
Ninkovic - first 27 games in the A-League 4 goals 0 assists
Urena - first 27 games 7 goals 4 assists
Diamanti first 27 games 8 goals 7 assists

TBH on the weekend Moresche struggled with the heat and the combination wasn't there so he took on more himself. I think Monty is looking at him as more of a link man this year than the out and out striker.

This is a great comparison. For him to be put into the same category as Castro, Ninko and Diamanti makes me very happy he is wearing our shirt.

Will depend on if Monty opts to go all out for the win in the first half and then pull back if all going well. Or if he backs the youth and brings on some more senior players as needed. I think it will be the youth route, although I also believe that Oli & Kye will still start. Cy as 10.

APIA will be at their most dangerous in the first 60 mins before fatigue kicks in. I’d be more comfortable with senior players starting to absorb any early push. Then bring the kids on to run over the top as they fade.

I think that's a very good side. Don't know enough about Bayliss and I'm not sure on Smith, with Muller coming back from a hammy id be more inclined to give him the best defender we have on that side, ie, Fazz. He has played alot of minutes though.

I’d say smith definitely should play tonight, fazz has played a lot of minutes and needs a rest, everyone was so hyped about smith signing before the season, so why not give him a chance, as for the rest, I’d expect a few fringe players to get some game time and a mix of youth and experience, hopefully we can get the win tonight

Only problem I have with that line up is risks around match fitness. Bayliss and Smith have zero minutes this season and Mueller and Aguek only marginally more. They could all hit the wall early, and then added to that I wouldn't expect much more than 70 mins for Nkokolo and Tsekenis. We could have a number of players treading water by the end especially if we have to make any injury subs, and/or have to empty the bench early and risk finishing with 10 players if we got any late injuries.

Given we have got 7 days after this game, I would be inclined to take the guidance of the fitness staff as to who has backed up well from the weekend and try and get some more match fit players into the starting 11.
