I agree he wouldn’t get an npl contract but to put the blame on him is ridiculous.
I don’t see you blaming bozanic for the first goal where he headed the ball to the top centre of the box instead of out wide?
I don’t see you blaming Farrell for the second goal by heading down not up?
So I get your opinion but it has no context to the whole game.
He's just not gelling with the team, in his defense someone should have told him he had time and not to put it out. It's old school defending that i would have done at youth level. This is pro and it's not good enough. I feel bad criticizing him because it's not for lack of effort or commitment, unfortunately he's just not at the level we need. To be fair it's not really his fault but it's still not good enough.

You could. It was silly BUT when you are a tackler (and Farrell is one of the best we have) you sometimes get it wrong, but the player was heading away from goal so it wasn't smart. It was actually probably Faz's worst game for us by some distance but he still did some excellent things.
That through ball was really top draw, a move up to midfield in the future?

I need to see the game on TV (like half of you softcocks that didnt turn up) but I was mighty impressed with Urena, Rowles and Hall. I also thought Olli also had a great game.

Our defence was suspect early tonight and our ball movement was horrendously slow until we scored
and then we suddenly switched on and played with some gusto.

After the goal we were easily the better side and played some lovely Football at times.

Centre of the park is still an issue.

It was a very enjoyable game of Football overall.

PP ground announcing was a work of art...... cracked us up when he announced a Cows goal.

Much not be popular, Roux lost us that game. No need to put that out for a corner and the goal resulted.

All their goals were fkin quality one offs or lucky. We were all over them for the whole game apart from about 15 mins. Good to get a point but fkin Roux... we need a replacement, losing our c in money again. Don't we have an academy right back to promote? I hope we don't lose Miller, we'll be in trouble.
no roux got a pen .and the guy scored a worldie .
your persecution of roux is bullshit

Muller had a big impact playing through the middle, could we see him start next to Olly against Perth?
yeah i don't know , we'll be juggling .beni looked hurt , muller had a grab at a hammie, miller may be hurt ,
nizzy was gone by half time . roun wasn't on the bench .

Strange game.We looked the better team for most of the game, more creative and some excellent passing moves in the second half.Going down 2 nil from set pieces in the first half when we had dominated seemed wrong to me but that volley for the first goal was a cracker.

Young Farrell had a mixed first half-silly fouls and poor positioning -but had a much better second half.Miller terrorised their defence with his strong runs and is a big improver.

Cummings worked hard and will score quite a few goals as he becomes acclimatised.Muller looked very good and nearly scored a worldie.Nkololo did some good things in attack but was slow to react when the ball came to Noone but he is not a defender so can be cut some slack( Birra did give him a mouthful).Noone probably would not be able to reproduce that shot if he attempted it fifty times but there you go.

The two penalties appeared to be justified and well well taken by Ollie and Moresche. However I did feel deflated that we only got one point after some very good play from our team. The Bulls were physical but to their credit came to play .
beni was gone .he looked in agony when trying to stretch out

Oar’s goal? Couldn’t bring myself to say his name. “Goal scored by Macarthur number 11” *mic drop* was more than he deserved. Prick.

Well he made a very strong case, I had no idea where we'd fit him after last game out wide, but he was fantastic next to Olly and proved to me that he's a very high quality footballer with a lot to offer us when fit.

Really anyone who knows football, know what this game was. We dominated much of the play and they scored 2 freak goals to snag a draw. Not quality goals. But two absolute, crazy town, freak arse goals. Meanwhile we were bouncing off the crossbar and how many shots just whistled by? Four at least.

The Cows really are a poorly coached side. How we're below this side on the table is beyond me. Travesty. Only sheer arse and individualism gave them a presence in that game. Which is ludicrous given the talent on their roster. But, not to take too much away from us, on balance I thought we were excellent and it was a great team performance.

Analysis wise. The Mids still looked to be our weakest area. But there were some real positives too.
  • Niz was solid and improving but clearly still not back to full Niz monster level fitness or form yet.

  • I thought Max struggled. Imo teams are targeting him, which makes it really tough on him, but it's working. So they're going to keep doing it. But when Muller came on he was able to absorb pressure and carry the ball forward and or make passes. It made a massive difference and we became so f**king dangerous.

  • Beni, I'm 50/50 on. I love half of what he does, and can't fault his energy, but his technique seems to consistently let him down in the critical moments. It's a difficult one.

  • Cy had some excellent moments, but he is being out muscled more often than any other player in our squad.

  • But Olly... Olly had an outstanding game imo. My 3 points.

  • Moresche was great I thought. Been a lot of divided opinion on him. For at least off the bench, I'm definitely on the pro side of the Moresche debate after tonight.

  • Hall, Rowles and Miller all had great games. Each worthy of at least 1 point. Rowles is not putting even so much as a toenail wrong. (whats this niggle Miller can't shake? Ankle?) And what an athlete Hall is... Mick turned to me and said, did you see that? After he sprinted the whole field to run down a Cow with fresh legs in the 93rd f**king minute. That's just something else.

  • Felt sorry for Birra. He was so pissed, just nothing he could do tonight.

  • Faz had what was his worst game for us so far. But young players have to have some off days. And he still did some great work and improved through the game even though he was clearly annoyed/disappointed with himself - hard thing to do - and that's rare resilience in a young player. He'll be even better again for tonight.

  • Muller - (My two points) was a revelation. As per the above, I'd like to see him against Perth next to Olly - but I am wary. Imo the cows, though full of talent, are for the most part a slow predictable side.

  • Very happy with our 3 forwards. all put in great shifts, with some moments of real excitement and quality from each of them. Already starting...to figure each other out. This intense period may be the perfect recipe for syncing them. And look the f**k out when they're on song. Best attacking talent we've had in a long time imo.

It was Lachie Rose Dan Hall out sprinted to the ball in the 93rd minute.

FP, you forgot the Dirty Sanchez chant from Bay 4 after the referee awarded each penalty.

Excellent point but i do find he dives in to much in positions on the field where it’s not necessary and he’s going to get one or two wrong but defensively he’s an excellent prospect. Gets in front of his man alot and cuts off so many balls.

His ball play needs a lot of work. Some times it was horrible last night but then did some things that make you change your mind. You can see why he was cut but I think there’s a lot to like and if he puts in the work and gets a reasonable right foot he will be very good.

Two flukes and one absolute gem. Have another look at Noone’s goal and you’ll appreciate it a bit more (but I understand your more talking about coping crazy goals) Acres of space quality attacker and his technique was incredible and he hit with the outside of the foot. One of the best finishes you’ll see.

Tommy one goal. Spot on
