It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Some things from the forum off the record for a couple of days ...

In summary..

  • COE sorta finished by late next year.
  • There will be ten festival days held to coincide with ten Mariner home games... the festival will each have a theme...
  • Reedy will be offered a contract ... he has not signed ... the talk on Reddy went for about half an hour, the floor, Arnie, Hutch & LM ... after hearing what I heard tonight I feel much better about his signing..
  • There are I think at least 3 other bidders for the rights to Bluetounge..
  • We have sold all our sponsorships..
  • CCLC is on the verge of becoming a huge additional sponsor... which makes no sense if the point above is correct
  • The indigenous program is ready to go
  • Players mostly fit...
  • Memberships.... four local clubs are now paying for junior players memberships..
  • Something that cannot be told on Social media for a couple of days...
  • Confirmation of the cannon and Marvin is going...

Big hint for the opening match against the Drive Bys.... Members will be given I think a week to buy tickets... the football family one day and then they go on sale to the general public... if we have only sold say 6K tickets then we could have 14K Drive bys on the Coast... so tell everybody to buy early or as a member you can bye as many as you like...

cheers for this. intrigued by the info that's to be kept from social media for a few days. did they tell you something and ask you not to say? fair enough if so.

I'd have gone to the forum tonight as I've finally moved back to the coast after living the better part of 4 out of the last five years away. didn't however as I have a 5 day old baby (aka junior mariner) who gets my priority tonight

TBF, Arnie said he didn't care, don't think Lawrie's comment about keeping it off social media was that serious.

Something also mentioned was they'll be speaking with young Daniel McFarlane regarding a contract.

Might have sold all ad space on the kit; doesn't mean we can't find other ways to provide service to sponsors.

CCLC would be less interested in advertising to TV viewers than it would to those attending matches - people watching on the other side of the country can't make a lunch date at the CCLC but mum and dad in the stands at the stadium can.

Hopefully it might inspire CCLC to put on adequate numbers of bar staff when we play at home.

MacFarlane could be anything. At 15, its all potential but he doesnt look out of place at State level even at this age.
