ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

End of A-league Reebok deal

I have to say that our current first team strip is one of the best I've seen, we really look like a football team who means business; I hope the new one is very similiar (and without that silly square panel on the back). But spare me the Wellington-esque stripes or those girlie looking sashes...

Should really lose the all yellow away strip, or at least get a third, all navy strip so there's no colour clashing when we're playing away

Interesting to see what the new company comes up with

Go back a page. You'll find that the yellow is gone.

Considering that Dibo says our home kit will be very similar to our current one, I've thrown together some samples of what it might be.

I've had a look at their website and whilst it's not mandatory on all their jerseys, the chevrons on the shoulders/sleeves seem to dominate most of Hummel's designs. So Marquee, I suspect your first mock-up would be pretty close to the mark.

Chevrons are a cool idea, I wonder if they have ever entertained the thought of using them as they are intended, displaying rank.

Imagine if for every year you have been at the mariners, you get one Chevron?

Wilko the senior General

Could even be used as re-signing motivations and I know the fans would go crazy over buying custom chevron'd jerseys with their favourite player..

Interesting idea shipwreck. There's probably some FFA reg which wont allow it no doubt. Also, when it comes to re-signing motivation, I think (know) that an extra chevron on the sleeve comes a distant second to the almighty $$$ ;)

In principle it's a good idea but I would find it a bit galling to see Disco running aroun with 6 stripes on his sleeve :yellowcard:

On the subject of recognition... and it's kinda applicable to this thread... is there any scope for acknowledging the number of Permierships we have won (or championships - but since we havent won one yet, it's a moot point)?

A small star above the emblem perhaps? or on the back on the collar... maybe the year?

My preference is black & white vertical stripes then I could wear my Collingwood (or Newcastle or Juventus) gear to matches. :piralaugh:

No, I'm not serious.

Just like the bloke in the crowd at the heart game who was wearing his sunderland jersey

I like those 2 but the blue for away will be just as bad as the yellow we have now.

Dibo has said that away will be different so I'm thinking a different colour all together.
