Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Just seems like a bit of an 'up yours' to the Marinators.....

Whats that?

That Travis has said he enjoys the vocal support? Or that the Mariners media manager has decided to print it?

it doesn't matter what Glen ( the media manager) wrote, he was just doing his job which is quoting Travis.

i agree with Poko's comments.. same team guys

At the time when he decided to point out that it was a different supporter's group getting the credit he wasn't quoting Travis (that bit was thrown in, by the looks of it).

If the front of the bay are a different supporter's group then it's dire times indeed for the Marinators - if they're the back of the bay crew, then I think they took up about two rows...

Probably hit the nail on head adz "supporters group", unlike the back 3 rows who "abuse the players if they have a bad game but sing if they win and then abuse the players for not coming over to say thanks for the support".
Excatly right, they do all the acts they did on saturday night and then expect for the boys to be all happy and like it never happened come on wake up to yourselves, they  boys are sick of it..

and +1 to what poko said were all following the same team so grow up and stop the bickering and shit

Inevitable wasn't it.

Goes back to season one when there was lots of debate on the forum about swearing and sexist comments in Bay 16. Retort from some of the powers that be was "If you don't like it f**k Off!"

Well most have.

To the same bay and i expect a few of them might swear too.

Candidate for the daftest post on here for some time. I'm not sure if you are trying to pass an opinion on something you know nothing about or are a WUM?

Some people want a more Ultra style of support and that would be almost impossible to get going with a broader mix of people. They decided to do their own thing. End of.

Or have they waited 3.5 seasons before "getting revenge"?

At the end of the day everyone is entitled to show support however they want too. Whether its the quiet achiever or loud and proud as long as we all support our team, it really doesnt matter does it?

WUM is not a term that I was previously familiar with, but the urban dictionary tells me it is a derogatory term for a woman.

So if that is what you are referring to then you are incorrect. I am just a person who objects to anti social behaviour , veiled beneath the guise of football support.

As the numbers in Bay 16 and in the Marinators new Bay are significantly less than past years there seems to be less support for your "Ultra" style of support.

Nothing wrong with that of course, as Ted says each to their own. I'm just questioning whether the original goals of the Marinators was to establish an elite group of Ultras or was it to build a formidable supporter group (appealing to the masses)  to support the Mariners?

Please pull your head in Paolo, it was an opinion!

There were about 7,300 Mariners fans there on Saturday night ... and many more Marinators (in the proper sense of the term) actively supporting their team than in Bay 23.

To each his/her own, as Ted said.

5 years of my dick is bigger than yours, my support is better than yours.  I can tell you the Marinators weren't coined and recognised for that.

Keep up your support but give up worrying about what others do (except when they don't actually 'support' the team of course)

Well i believe i am right with the fact he has no idea whats happening due to the fact he is questioning the marinators wanting to establish an 'ultra' style of support.

It wasn't me suggesting that the Marinators want to be a group of "Ultras"

FFC is referring to the formation of the new group.

- New group prefers a continental europe style
- Marinators more a UK style.

New group moved to front, marinators stayed at back.

It is as simple as that...
