ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

That does sound right...

Would be a great way for the clubs that are owned by multiple owners to absolutely rout the system (more than they already do) if not

Kelechi is goneski IMO. What are the rules for NPL with visa players? Could we play him in that team for half a season?

My understanding is that loans between A-League clubs are only allowed if the player is u23, and eligible to represent Australia.
This is from Aug 22

Men’s domestic loan limits mirror the FIFA international loan limits, with A-League clubs being permitted two intra-league loans out and two intra-league loans in as part of the total domestic limits (i.e. only two players loaned in and two players loaned out between A-League clubs at anyone time) .

Please explain.
Not sure what you want explained. It’s one possible way they might look to resolve the excess visa players situation. If everything was rosy elsewhere it may be easier to say we don’t need the player coming back from a long term injury who isn’t integrated into this seasons squad. I don’t think it would happen and aside from being generally scummy there may be rules or pfa issues in doing so I’m not sure. But it is one potential road to resolve the issue. You’ll notice I listed a bunch of alternatives.

Understood all the others but couldn't see this ever happening so wanted to know your reasoning behind it. Gelled well last season and has been close to the squad during rehab, he'll be back and is highly anticipated. Couldn't see him being sold tbh and we are contractually bound anyway. Plus Monty has been singing his praises.

By contrast wtf do we know about Kelechi, has he even played a game for us? I can't recall.

Surely you don't sign that many CB's and not expect attrition...

Just looking at all the angles. I do think and hope that one is unlikely.

On the CBs thing I don’t know if they expected Triantis to be a regular so early in his time here and Monty didn’t seem impressed with Hall early on for some reason possibly beyond the Aus cup game so it’s probably fair to say they expected Kaltak and Kelichi to be our go to CBs but it hasn’t worked out that way. Interesting times ahead.

Lucas Mauragis is on loan to the Phoenix from the Jets this year as well.

There was a young CB loaned to the Roar by Victory last season or the one before iirc. Surname was Slavic sounding and began with an M (Milinaric I think).
