ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

At present count there are 21 players who have shown interest. I know of 2 that can't make it tomorrow night (one from Dinamo and the one from Sparta). Team Dinamo has been selected from the group that played last year (from what I can gather). Team Sparta has a few spots left to fill. Those not selected are encouraged to play in 3rd division as a team. Unfortunately someone may not make a team if all 3 teams are full and we have extras.

As I said Id be happy to have 7 players in Sparta (more game time) as long as we had the option of drawing from the 3rd div team if needed. The 3rd team may be able to register with only 6 players, I am not sure on the rules about player limits per team.

Again if we can dual register for the 2 grades then some may be able to cover the shortfall in the lower grade, again I am unsure of the rules though.
cool
i just wanted to know what to expect. I mean thats fair enough to ask?
wat do managers do? Let everyone know game times?
do they control subs (ie. 10 min 'shifts')- or is it whoever tired go off? I dunno wat every1s stamina is like. I personally can last 30 mins- but about 20 mins of pretty much 100% intensity so subs are good to keep team fresh
i'm pretty sweet starting on bench (got used to this year on Sundays :p)

If everyone gets even court time, then no one can complain I guess. May start the game one week and then come off the bench the next.

A manager would do things like collect weekly fees and inform players of game times, etc.

ive been pumped since the idea conceptualised in my head.

And yes im at wyoming. It was EGO yes, only remember talking to Mehdi from EGO thats about it.

Crazy game mine, i remember a pathetic 1st half, followed by a magic 2nd half.

The comp doesn't actually start for a few weeks yet I believe. Tonight is more a trial (and error for some of us, lol) to sus out our abilities. I also havent played indoor for a looonnnngggg time. But once I get the feel for it again will be sweet.

they supply them

Cheers mate, was hoping they do. Still may buy one myself though as they have less bounce and more weight than an outdoor ball. Are they a size 4?

Don't forget that we will treat monday nights as training nights until the comp starts.

aussiecross and mick both can't make it tonight and eggy is overseas (thats no excuse i know, lol) I'd say a few others probably wont make it tonight either. should still be a decent showing of numbers. I have also asked a couple of mates to come along as well.

Its not unusual for me to get "unusualy excited i'm soooooooooooooooo
fking pumped.
How many can i score?? Last yr i think i only went 2 or 3 scorless and mb 3 or 4 more with less then 2 it was common to for me(and everyone on our team)to get hattricks and 4 5+ everyone in our team scored lots there was just sooo many goals

I think micky got 1st by one
then me and jimmy = 2nd??

having said that this is a different year different comp so im not gonna run my mouth bout my goals i'm just gunna talk trash bout our team stomping on all y all throats
And there will definitly be some contact between me and all y all keepers it just happens that way.

:vhappy:  :vhappy:  :vhappy:  :vhappy:  :vhappy:

personally i'd prefer 2 subs not 3 it seemed a lil to much last season

Seven a side is a very possible if we have the extra team in 3rd div. Those that end up playing in the 3rd div would most likely kill it there by all accounts.

NOTE:  If you wanna warm up prior to the game tonight get there a bit earlier, which would be wise.
