ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Club announcements - wild speculation thread

The dramatic music in the background drove me insane but was pretty good. Was good for 'outsiders' like me who haven't seen the training grounds/surrounds.

The producers twitter feed said that ep1 was scene setting and they get into the nitty gritty a bit more as the series develops.

Nice 30 minute ad for the C Coast too.

Have to be enough clips to make a promo DVD or ads for next season hopefully

I'm putting this in the wild speculation thread for two very good reasons. Firstly it's a TWG article, secondly they're 'reporting' on comments already reported on and which I've already read word for word.
i.e. they've run out of 'sensational' material regarding the financial crisis of the club so went back through it all to see what they could drum up.
I find these articles annoying. Mike said these things during the takeover period when questioned about Arnie's future. Pretty much what was known - he's done well at CCM and will no doubt at some time, possibly soon, move on to bigger and better things.
There's no info in this at all. This article is spin on comments that have already been reported on, purely to sensationalise.

What else can they write about now that the Mariners aren't moving to Geelong and the CoE isn't going to collapse. It's tough being a journo and having to make up stories all the time!
