ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

This is awesome! Don't be underwhelmed people, I think a six-part, behind the scenes doco will be well enjoyed when it comes out after the season is over.
I for one find that very pleasing news.

. i would be happy if i could actually watch it (it seems likely to be shown only on fox unfortunately)

I'm with GrA. I think this is great news. Another A league first and as long as it paints the mariners in the best possible light, WHICH I BLOODY HOPE IT DOES, it could really help rev up our supporter base and is a good sales tool for sponsors and potentially our international profile. Christmas wish, Can we please be the first Australian team to win the ACL. (Need to keep Tommy to do it though I reckon - Kids a star)

Anyhow, I'm sure they haven't sold the rights to Fox exclusively ad infinitum? Hopefully will make it's way to more punters eventually via FTA if it's a quality doco.

I'm so excited about this project... it's unbelievable! The doco is sure to dispel a few myths about our great club. Can't wait to see the feature on Monty and how he has settled into Coast life after leaving Sheffield. That aspect alone should stir a bit of interest in the UK. Wouldn't it be surreal to be travelling in England, flick on the TV and see Hutch giving to to the scummers :D

I did a quick search on Foxtel's website TV guide and found that they are broadcasting the "Rugby Union: The Code" episode 1 at 7:30 27Mar on Fox Sports 3 and Fox Sports 3 HD. However nothing about the Mariners. I've set it to record the series JIC.

I did - it was light on 'hard football' stuff and was more about story and visuals. It's done with very arty filtered shots and all, and it's just nice to see what goes on behind the curtain I guess.
