ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!
If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.
ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.
ordinarily I would say that beggars belief that there was no action taken either at the time or by the MRP....but this is Sydney we are talking about, not some pissant little regional team outside of Sydney.http://www.foxsports.com.au/footbal...e/news-story/c8e7d97cf12ae8400292b9227a86f319
The fact that the keeper was not cited by the MRP for this is absolutely beyond disgusting, after Roy's incident. Absolutely no consistency or integrity from this organisation - but there never has been from the MRP. Utter disgrace to the sport.

Ran up and tried to elbow him in the head. It was a red card offence.I actually like the fact they did nothing to be honest as there didn't seem to be too much apart from a little push and shove off the ball. There were no punches or headbutts, yes there was an over reaction from the keeper but nothing worthy of a red card or ban. Thought MRP did a good job on the Monty sending off to and all that can be said of Roy's that it was in line with the crime he committed. Others may have got away with lighter bans that they should have but for what Roy did 8 weeks was fair.
Again, in Association land he could be looking at violent conduct and up to 5 weeks. It's *miles* off the ball, completely unnecessary and could've started (and on a park probably *would've* started) a brawl.Ran up and tried to elbow him in the head. It was a red card offence.
Didn't it knock Mackay over? If so then that would make it an arguable red card even without the attempted strike.
And of course, inept refereeing (the referee and near AR weren't really supposed to pick up on it, but the other 2 officials were supposed to...although competent refereeing would have dealt with the late tackle that started it).
