well i would be just happy with a speedy striker/
Please get a speedy striker!!! We need one
Doesnt have to be frakin awesome just somone off bench who could shred up the game in the end.
Look who has one
Sydney (Brosque), Perth (Rukyvitska)(dunno how to spell that), Newcastle (Griffiths), MV (Allsopp + AT), Adelaide (Burns), QLD- not out and out strikers but they play with 3 forwards (Zullo and Kruse).
I think that a speedy striker would cover all bases in attack and give us an extra dimension!
Also defensive utility (who can play left back), failing at that maybe a left sided utility in the mould of a younger D.Brown?

Dylan MacAllister. Problem solved.

Know we just need one who'll score 10 goals a season.
lol, u r joking...? He may have a bit of pace for a big guy but at 193cm i seriously doubt he rivals AT, kruse and zullo for speed!

i had a dream mariners couldnt find a keeper
and trott and redmayne couldnt make it to the
game, so O'Grady went in goals.
What is the chances of this happening in the season ??  :p

None - JC would always elect Kwas to be 4th choice keeper

Are you joking? Have you seen the guy play? Do you even know anything about the guy other than what you have read on wiki? For starters, he is officially 191 cm tall, and after having seen him stand next to O'Grady, there is no way in hell he is the same height. And have you seen him train? He could be a bullet for all you know.

What about Boogaard. He has had some in goal experience?

AT, kruse and zullo are all fast, but you forgot to include yourself in that list kareem!

never mind speed, i seriously doubt any of them could beat macallister in a challenge in the air...

I'm reliably informed by one of my sons, that Macallister is is faster than Kruse, Zullo Griffiths and Rukavytsya....and is as fast as Djite and Minniecon....according to FIFA08  ;D  however his acceleration speed is not as good as Kruse and Zullo.  Interestingly, FIFA08 says Travis Dodd is one of the quickest, although in terms of acceleration it's Burns, Zullo and Kruse who are top.

so...if we believe the good people who created FIFA08 got it right, then we are in for a good season.  I guess we'll see soon enough anyway.  :pirashoot:

fifa 08 was basically done by jaza and then sub-edited to the shithouse. i'd put about as much stock in that as i would enron.

ofcourse not
IMO he could end up being a star striker in HAL...just for different reasons. Speed aint everything! Just i thought it was a bit weird that 193cm guy could be that fast :S

So that's why Liverpool are disturbingly good on there??  It all makes sense......

And Sydney are as good as Melbourne even though were the 4th best team in V2. ;)
