Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

McKinna hoping French Bru can provide champagne football

LONG derided for their lack of foreign signings, Central Coast are considering adding some Gallic flair to their squad, with French midfielder Jonathan Bru on trial at the Gosford club.

Formerly of high-flying Ligue 1 side Stade Rennais, Bru moved to second-division side Istres in 2006 before moving to Chateauroux last season......

Does anyone know when and where the Youth team are playing this thurs?

It is actually Stade Rennes, and that one at least is a Breton team not French!

Ooh la la!

Yes, I heard Youth against Seniors ... maybe ... but where and when?

I'll be at the NSW Div 1 Major Semi at Christie Park on Thurday night - yes .... Premiers Spirit FC versus Inter Lions.  Come along and support Orgad, and one or two ex CCM Academy boys!

Mon dieu!!

Rydhe Breten Vyghan lemmyn!  :naughty:

Now, back to football and the Mariners - I think Lawrie does need to think of getting one or two experienced players for the ACL, so France (or even Brittany) is as good as anywhere.

Rather than Sheffield I wonder if Ferencvaros have any talent?

ill check out training tomorrow or friday and see if i can find him, wont be hard if he still looks like that

If he had been playing in reserves probably would not be posted. Only first team starts.

He is only 23 too

Good thinking Jebus, but it would be nice to have some reports on his performances because I'd imagine that the A-League would be a better standard compared to French Ligue 2 Reserves. His age and representative record are impressive however.

Savage Available On Cheap Loan

DERBY manager Paul Jewell has confirmed midfielder Robbie Savage is free to leave Pride Park on loan.
The 33-year-old former Wales international has not featured in the Rams' last five matches after losing his place after the 1-0 home defeat by Southampton on August 23.

"Robbie's agent rang me and asked would we consider loaning him out, and I said yes," Jewell told the Derby Evening Telegraph.

"He is not in the team. He wants to play football and he is one of the players that will be available for loan."

Savage's wages could prove a stumbling block in any possible move but Jewell revealed Derby would be willing to assist in that department.

"We are quite happy to help things happen if that is what Robbie wants and it benefits both sides."

And there is the hard man that people are calling for in the Mariners squad. Just throwing it out there is all

Imagine a combination of Griffiths, Musc**t & Tiatto and you are still nowhere near the level of utter c**t that he is.

Hated the length and breadth of the UK and would undoubtedly fail our no DH policy

Lets get him haha. Whats with the no dickhead policy. Is this something the mariners have stolen off the swans or just something the marinators have come up with. I'd love to have Robbie at our club and would cover our need for an attacking midfielder, not too mention him costing nothing on loan.

I think you will find its the coaching staffs policy not the supporters
