ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. I can definitely see smith going home for some NPL.I suspect that Noah Smith would have expected to battle out the LB role with Matt Hatch. With only a few minutes in a FFA Cup game maybe he is missing Adelaide.
Lewis miller is building to become a great CB.If Kye (or RT) was to go we need to replace him. Not enough depth to lose a starting quality CB without replacing. If Birraz was to go we would need to replace him since our backup is injured. Anyone else would be missed to varying degrees but we could probably make do.
Little bit differentI can definitely see smith going home for some NPL.
he’s been huge disappointment. I never expected him to be a world beater obviously and no one expected Farrell to be so good and solid, but it seems Noah is barely challenging for a spot, if he was he’d of featured a hell of a lot more… ie; Miller taking storms spot.
I can’t speak to that but while I can see improvement I would still find the prospect of Hall & Miller starting together in CB a concern due to age and experience. It’s not a gamble we can afford to take so early in our recovery. Worth noting that would make Roux our full time RB and leave us short on subs/depth.Lewis miller is building to become a great CB.
Hes not the same player as last year.
Bit harsh on Noah, obviously he can’t challenge for a spot when Farrell is doing so wellI can definitely see smith going home for some NPL.

It is - but realistically even without Farrell he would be fighting for the spot with Hatch. Further forward on the left we have played Beni, Cy, Hatch and that is Muller preferred position.Bit harsh on Noah, obviously he can’t challenge for a spot when Farrell is doing so well
With the amount of cup and A league games we’ve played so far you’d have expected more rotation if he were up to scratch. I mean we see Miller & Roux swap regularly but not Farrel and smith.Bit harsh on Noah, obviously he can’t challenge for a spot when Farrell is doing so well
Miller needs to be managed, coached and subbed when his brain farts appear or his emotions get the better of him. None of the above for Farrell. With the amount of cup and A league games we’ve played so far you’d have expected more rotation if he were up to scratch. Yeah I was wondering if him swapping to RB was a possibility. You would assume this has been considered in training though?Maybe Smith needs to develop his right foot and swap sides....
Yeah, why would you keep him, and why would he want to stay. I mean Roux is getting time ahead of him FFS no matter what f**king foot you areI wonder if he might be the one "out" this window?

He scored a good goal against Apia and could have had 2. He looked decent in that cameo but Farrell has been superb. That was my point when I raised his name. I doubt he thought he would have single figure Cup minutes and 0 League minutes at this stage of the season.
Rubs salt in the wound for Sozer. It was rumoured to be happening in this transfer window at the beginning of the season. This is probably why we recruited such a strong number two. Given our current situation with Sozer we need to recruit immediately if Birraz goes.
