ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.
Especially the ones from the pie eating championshipSo did McCormack
So accurateWe are basically signing Jamie Tartt arent we? Hopefully we get him when he wants to settle down, be part of the team and grow up.
Just imagine how many we would have put past them on Monday ffs…….Wellington have also just disappeared and look very bad
He scored like 25 goals the season before coming to us.Yeah but McCormack wasn't 26. He was fat, slow and done. This guy isn't.
Well well...my new favourite player. This vid starts at the moment Dogs name drops his head like a true winner after failing to clear cummings goal.Just for a moment imagine this guy with Nizz, Urena and Cy feeding him
And then when he got to us........... fat, slow and done. What's he done sinceHe scored like 25 goals the season before coming to us.
Were they? These are his stats - and since we are comparing with Ross McCormack I have included his career stats to compare. Jason compares very favourably. As I said before - there is a good footballer in there.Highlights can make anyone look good. His last few seasons were poor.
If he can turn himself around, train hard and still bang goals like that while staying away from tabletop dancing in Terrigal then great, I'd love to see him up front, hungry and scoring for us.
If not, then I'd rather not see us waste what little money we have on him.

I was going by his interview and own comments mate. his teammate (and friend/interviewer) even mentioned his lack of goals. Were they? P.S. Not convinced that this is anything but a rumour at this stage.

Bit harsh on Muller, his one appearance was great and exactly what we needed to finish off the game. Still a long way to go in the season and now there will be a lot of make up games so he will get his turn and I feel will not let us down.Every visa player at the mariners is/was a gamble. We don’t have the budget to compete with the big teams on visa players, so we roll the dice.
In the last few years players that haven’t worked include McCormack, Kim, Ziggy, McGlunchy, Jair, Jankovich, Janota, Mallon, Graham, Astrubal and arguably so far Muller.
Ones that have paid off are Tommy H, Urena, Duric, and arguably Goddard will, and verdict is out on Nkololo for me.
We get players who other teams pass on, and hope our culture, coaching or the opportunity can get the best from them. Our conversion rate isn’t great, but that’s what happens on a budget.
This Scottish bloke falls into the same category or hoping we can get the best from them. If it’s was a clean, guaranteed high performing player, he would be signing for someone else on more money.
I included muller for the fact he was unwanted by other Aleague clubs, and it’s now Jan and we haven’t had a meaningful input from him. He has time to turn it around, but so far for a number of reasons hasn’t had an impact.Bit harsh on Muller, his one appearance was great and exactly what we needed to finish off the game. I’m reserving my judgement on CD and so far we are getting great results from all our players including the young guns. Look at Miller this season. If anyone can make this work it’s Monty.
Agree that without the misdemeanours he would be out of our league.
Mallon was only 18 at the time and put in some solid performances in the limited time he hadEvery visa player at the mariners is/was a gamble. We don’t have the budget to compete with the big teams on visa players, so we roll the dice.

Kim was also handy and Ziggy did a job for us.Mallon was only 18 at the time and put in some solid performances in the limited time he had
on the pitch...
