ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

I'm mildly confident Staj won't go...yet. Has another year on his contract, has had a successful year, a group he's bonded with (those who stay at least) and the chance the resources will go up if a sale does eventuate.

Fingers crossed anyway

Staj would be a huge loss if he left.Who could replace him? Aloisi,Rudan,Aurelio Vidmar would be looking for jobs( not sure about Vidmar). One from left field would be lure Broich back from Germany.Any other suggestions if Staj does go?

It'll be a job for ken schembri to sort when the time is right.
He has the direction, he's taken us this direction, we're on his right path, his path is working, I say trust them in the methods.
Personally I'd like to see us avoid attacking players/coaches ie broich, we are a defensive team. We develop coaches as much as players, let's find coaches with potential.

Massive news about Kye, we’re really starting to see him grow as a player and man. Was immense all season and I won’t be surprised if we get a transfer fee in this next contract run.
good timing on the announce too.

Apart from all the mistakes that lead to goals ?
Too accident prone. A back up at best

I don't like the sound of worse to come. To me that sounds like Birraz, Bozanic or maybe Urena.
Out of those three I think Birraz would be the most likely.
Bozanic probably settled back on the coast.
Urena told someone he'd like to stay.
But Birraz absolutely devastated the other night after the loss.

That's what worries me. We havent seen Pearce at all, what we have seen is Glover then Gauci go elsewhere and step up. Did we keep the right one? Will Pearce be more ready than we're expecting? I'm not ready to flinch at every shot again.
