ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

in terms of vocal support i havent seen need for concern, tha crew up the front have always been  audible and constant the whole 90 compared to the opposition, i.e GCU being quiet til they scored and then we scored, quiet again

GCU @ home, Melbourne away round 1, Fury Away.

Would of been some that have down both Melbourne away games and the Gold Coast home Game.

Club doesn't seem to care - with all the players leaving to play elsewhere, so I can't see anything but misery for this one. A pity, as usually everyone is all fired up. But now it's novelty value only, eg. when with Hutcho piss of the Squdrunts.

Will be going, just for the slim chance we may do something unexpected. Oh, and the 'Hutcho Show' of course, or is he off to Malta?

no novelty value here- finals or no finals its still a derby.

Scum lost tonight, a win to us can really f**k their finals hopes (or at least the chances of a home final)

Every little helps

Serious motivation is now at hand.

And then if Fury could sneak in, Id really enjoy supporting them.

Fury to win toilet seat would be well beyond hilarity!

BUt in terms of us getting up on the weekend...

Hutchs' "We need to stand up and take responsibility as players" is why I think we are likely to be able to play some good football, get a win, and salvage some pride.

With Fury winning last night you little beauty, we are ahead of only Pissant Town. A win Saturday is therefore essential if we're to avoid the possibility of the spoon. If nothing else can motivate the guys, I hope that fact will.

A draw would be enough to offload the spoon to Adelaide. Their F/A is too poor.

Actually we need two draws for that.

Much better if The roar actually play at hindmarsh and beat the reds there.

My list wish is we win the next two, Brisbane beat Adelaide and Perth, Furries beat Victory and Fold coast. Adelaide beat the Jest in the final round. draws in the other games giving:

1 Melbourne Victory FC 47
2 Gold Coast United 46
3 Sydney FC 44
4 Perth Glory FC 37
5 Brisbane Roar FC 36
6 Wellington Phoenix FC 35
7 North Queensland Fury 35
8 Newcastle Jets FC 34
9 Central Coast Mariners FC 33
10 Adelaide United FC  26

Best result for us would see us win two, fury lose two, jest lose two, brisbane lose to Perth but beat Adelaide. a nix win on the Gold Coast and A perth win against Sydney

1 Melbourne Victory FC 50
2 Gold Coast United 47
3 Sydney FC 42
4 Perth Glory FC 42
5 Wellington Phoenix FC 37
6 Newcastle Jets FC 34
7 Central Coast Mariners FC 33
8 Brisbane Roar FC 33
9 North Queensland Fury 29
10 Adelaide United FC  29

No sorry, I can't accept your best result. To miss the finals by 1 point to the scum would be too much.
I'd rather finish 9th as in your wish list than that.

TBF we know we can't make it so it is only a case of what could of been. What would of been worse was having hope then missing out on the last day by 1 point to the jest.

Personally I think this week should be strongest sides in both Youth and A-league, then we take a team focusing on youth to wellington when we don't have a youth game. With at least half hour given to any youth player taken.

True would have been worse to have hope dashed, but I just can't stand even the LOOK of the table that way.

Totally agree with youth for Nix, especially the ones we've signed for HAL. The lad who plays LB as well, seeing we need to fill that spot.

They must also be told not to worry if they get carved up or make mistakes. Just get out there & have a go. Seeing we haven't beaten or scored against Nix for 2 years, the young blokes can't do any worse than those who've gone before them.

Time for Bernie to get a run in the top flight!

has been training with the first squad all week

apparently perth are strong interest in him

We are getting McBreen and he put the nails in our coffin on the weekend. They are interested in Bernie, and he hit the final nail in their coffin in the NYL game. Funny coincidence. I say we should give Bernie game time these next two weeks- we have nothing to lose and would give him a running advantage heading into next season. A team with he and McBreen in it might change our fortunes noticeably.

Maybe this weekend the club should take a leaf out of Mansfield Towns book, maybe then 'marinerheart' might turn up...

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/teams/m/mansfield_town/8492556.
Blue Square Premier side Mansfield Town are offering fans the chance to pay whatever they want to see their home game against Gateshead on Saturday

People will be able to turn up on the day and pay any amount to watch the game.

They will be able to sit where they want, except in the seats reserved for season-ticket holders
