ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

the var has change multiple card decisions .
surely this comes under that . in that broxson committed a yellow card foul, his second .that should of seen him get a red card .
i'd put a red bill ($20) on the table anyday of the week on. if it was a mariner .this is precisely what would of happened .
Pretty sure VAR can only be involved in red cards and not yellow, therefore there is no way this could have been changed during the match and they very rarely change yellows after the match unless it is the wrong person recorded etc. Totally agree this should have been Broxham's second yellow but that grub always gets away with cheap shots.

Second yellow to red is not a VAR area to get involved, it just doesn’t work like that. Straight red only plus some other things like mistaken identity. VAR can’t do anything about the Silvera one, it could be appealed after but not a sure thing.

Isn't issuing a yellow to a player that gets his ankle stomped on with studs by an opposing team's player a mistaken identity?

I'm failing to see in what universe he could have been booked for anything when he was the one fouled. Imagine he received a broken ankle from that and a card, and nothing can be done about it!? lol

Mistaken identity isn’t getting the call wrong it’s giving the wrong player on the offending team the caution or send off. Like pointing out the wrong player if someone gives the ref a spray or a dangerous tackle in a congested area.
