The AFL does that, and it's beyond moronic. Same action results in widely different results based off luck and the susceptibility of the victim to various injuries.oh, so were gonna decide suspension length on resulting injury now.....cool
ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!
If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.
ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

I agree, it's not a crazy idea for the injury to be a consideration on the length of a suspension. The AFL does that, and it's beyond moronic. Same action results in widely different results based off luck and the susceptibility of the victim to various injuries.
what i meant T was , injury should not be a resulting factor , intent/act should be , also if the red cardee has some serious priors....you dont see bank robbers getting off cause they got no money ...intent/actI agree, it's not a crazy idea for the injury to be a consideration on the length of a suspension.
It's not crazy, but trust me - it's not a good result and ends up with even more frustrating ambiguity.I agree, it's not a crazy idea for the injury to be a consideration on the length of a suspension.
The photo of it is brutal, both feet planted directly on the back of each leg. Could have been a horrific outcome for FazNot harsh at all. Perfect amount. It was one of the nastiest challenges I’ve seen for quite awhile. Have you seen the photo of it? Both feet, studs showing, left the ground and landing on both of fazz’s calves…. I get what you’re saying that yeah he didn’t break his legs etc. but that honestly doesn’t matter.
isaias has always been a scumbag nasty c**t that fools the media and Adelaide fans with his childish voice and fake smile.
Not saying that Recky but the force of the tackle needs to be factored into consideration. I would rather our players don’t play act in those sorts of situations and it is a credit to Faz that he didn’t overreact at the time.oh, so were gonna decide suspension length on resulting injury now.....cool
fair enough, but i still think 5 weeks was just fine , actually it should be more for anything resembling a potential leg snapper , injured or notNot saying that Recky but the force of the tackle needs to be factored into consideration. I just freeze framed the video, gee that is one of the worst I've ever seen tbh. Faz is very lucky that the position of his legs let them crumple under rather than offer resistance, this could have been career ending.Do you have the photo? My recollection was that his back leg got stuck in the pitch and this softened the force on the Farrell challenge. Otherwise it could have been much nastier.
Not saying it wasn’t a bad tackle but the freeze frame makes it look so much worse.I just freeze framed the video, gee that is one of the worst I've ever seen tbh.
