Final score being 5-0 to the Mariners.

Goals by:

Mustafa Amini
Kwassie
Brady Smith
Mrdja (Pen)
Ollie

First half was a bit...meh. Nothing fantastic. Picked up in the second half though. Brady Smith's goal was a bit fantastic actually.

Props to the drunk guys in the corner, giving Mrdja shit. Definatley gave me a laugh.

Bozanic was quality, ditto Kwas.

If Nash is the answer to our keeper problem, we are asking the wrong questions. Trott v2.0

The local Premier League select team can hold their heads high after tonights performance.

The scoreboard really didn`t reflect the effort the lads put in.

Trailing 2-0 at half time the locals could feel disappointed as they had the better of the play & created more scoring opportunities. The Mariners, however boring they played, managed to convert 2 of their 3 opportunities.

I thought Lewis put in a solid perfomance on the left side.
Matt Simon & Kwassie got lazier as the game edged towards halftime & only started moving when Wilko put a rocket up them.
Doig & Wilko although solid in defence bored me to tears with the constant crossfield balls & pass backs (not the way to get bums on seats fellas)

The second half was a lot better. Oliver Bozanic was the standout performer & for mine the man of the match. With him & Mcglinchey in the Central midfield I can`t see Hutcho getting much of a run this year.

Rostyn Griffiths also looked the goods on occasions but needs a bit more time to settle in.

Mrdja had his usual game & didn`t look comfortable at all in general play. He did however, score a quality goal from a freekick & as one wag from The Entrance called " it might be your only one of the season"

Overall it was a good night & CCFA should be congratulated for selecting a quality team, who with limited preparation, put on a very creditable perfomance.

alright, forums, hai Iz back

.Thought the ners just chilled the game mostly in second gear
. Good goals, kwas with the razzle, third was a bomb, as was Niks
. Bozanic looks quaaality
. number 27 made some kickass attacking supporting runs as a back

also, the save their second half keeper made from Mrdja's right foot:)o) volley, wow.

Good hit out for the Mariners tonight, for me Bozanic & Griffiths looked good and as said in earlier posts, the second half was a lot better for the Mariners than the first.

The Premier League Select Team can really hold their heads up high, only beaten 5-0 (doesn't sound too good) but considering they hadn't played together before and only had a few training runs they showed that the Central Coast is full of football talent.

Well done to CCF for organising a great night, well done to the crowd, especially a certain corner of the crowd, well done to the Mariners and well done to the Premier League Select Team, a real Central Coast quality Team.

I am astounded at the amount of people who lump midfielders all into the same category.

Do we really think McGlinchey or Bozanic can effectively play a defensive midfield role?

1st half was gash...looked very sloppy not to mention boring. The ners total inability to break down the select team was very frustrating.
Improved in the 2nd half with weemac and olly on shifting the ball muc quicker through the midfield. But there is no chance that olly would tuck in and play cm with weemac

Had a great night last night with the family. Anyone know who were the 24 and 26 for the Mariners?
