Yeah I’ve said it before, drifting into the 10 role could cost him some goals converted but it also allows him to arrive a little later into the box probably unmarked like he would be leading the line.

fact of the matter is though, for a long time we’ve needed another more experienced CM since Ollie left. When injury’s happen like they have now, we’re extemely bare there. Triantis and hall can play there but IMO only effectively so as part of a set 3 man CM as the holder.

Noticed Monty having a talk to Aiden O'Neill after the game. Would be a great to get him back to help Nizzy.

Yeah they've moved them under > videos
Then you have to filter in the drop down by: A league men and in the other drop down Press Conferences. Was a bit of a pain to figure out.

Monty getting spicy about last season's interesting referring decisions in Melbourne, which was good to see.

I don't agree with him on Glover though, I don't think he intended to throw it into the stands, and Football Australia would have been in danger of appearing to endorse the pitch invasion had he been suspended for it.

. the home TV has been on the 'cricket channel' for the boxing day test. I have no idea if the BBL games are all shown live but they are shown back-to-back well in to the night it seems ... with plenty of kids in the crowd

. it is just a better game of football if it is played in cooler conditions

. better for the players, better for the fans

. they knew days beforehand about the weather and all four teams could have prepared accordingly if the sensible decision was made ... 30 mins was a useless token measure

At the game nearly everyone was in the shade on the non broadcast side as the broadcast side was in the blazing sun.

My guess was around the same, decent crowd for City.

Yeah I think reasonably accurate, anywhere in the 4000 range was reasonable.

Lack of midfield and the heat just made this game a write off. Glad it didn't impact goal difference too much. Done, moving on.
