ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Costanzo would be the experienced CB we are crying out for and the organiser that Viddie was for us.

So, what's happening with Constanzo at Adelaide? Is he jumping or being pushed?

A Jedi type play to fill DM

We f*cking well had one.  He was called Mile Jedinak.  We f*cking sold him.

*shakes head*

LOL!  ;D

Well I'm not laughing - IMO selling Jedi has ended our season and put a big dent in the ACL campaign too, but perhaps the $800,000 was needed for the training pitches at Club Tugg...

IMO, I believe that we are already in talks with George. With the freed up $800k, I believe we have a very good chance of signing him.

Post 1,2 and 3 sum it up really.

Time to get some decent defense, time to get a mid field that does not hold up/loose the ball or falls over at the drop of a hat.

Strikers... have been ok this year but lets be honest up against Melbourne or Perth they look like old farts..... Need someone quick.....

Can I suggest Bear or Serious?

In all honesty, the "turmoil" we perceive that we are going though is a storm in a teacup compared to the turmoil that the Jets are going through ATM. I was browsing through the forum at 442 and I found this post from a Jets supporter:

I will just reiterate why the fans were unhappy in the first place, and why the supporter groups decided to protest.
Here are a few things that have rankled us this season:
*empty promises of a 5 yr plan and an academy.
*the club's refusal to use ASA's that lost us players.
*the lack of proper scouts and a football director til now.
*Con's treatment of the players,including:
a)the mangoes as a bonus
b)Zura's departure (visa claims + family not being brought out..never really explained and seems that it enabled the club to move Griffo to Marquee..a bit suspect)
c)the club rushing signings every year and signing duds from DVDS.We are always behind the 8 ball compared to others.
d)Con's take-it-or-leave it approach that has alienated players.
e)GVE,Tsatsimas and Con's offhand remarks about players, and the willingness to blame the foreign players and rookies while accepting poor performances by the more established players.
f)signing players that have rarely been used such as Kaz,Kovacic,Hawko and Ontong. This misuse of money made us resort to using our youth players while denying these others a chance.
*poor discipline at all levels of the club.
*the club's shortsightedness in regard to PR and community.
*the club parading big names in the papers and then hunting conference-type players and players past their prime.
*Paying the players peanuts.I have it on good advice that James Holland in particular was riled up by his junior wage and that the living allowances for the youth players are often not paid on time.No wonder they leave.
*The Jets defaulting on cheques to other businesses.
*The club's unwillingness to hear diverging opinion that may better the club's standing in the community and on the pitch.

Feel sorry for them or LOL, but we've got nothing to complain about compared to them.

Mariners refused to pay my $200 million transfer fee from Dinamo and could not meet my $500,000 a week wage demands

Serious is just lazy
