ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!
If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.
ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

MARINERS coach Phil Moss has fired back at Marcos Flores’ claims that he did not receive adequate support from the Central Coast club while recovering from a serious knee injury.
The Argentine playmaker, now with the Newcastle Jets, played 13 games for the Mariners last season before a full knee reconstruction ruled him out of the remainder of the season.
But Moss, who made the decision not to renew the 28-year-old’s contract, says Flores wouldn’t be in line to play for the Jets against the Mariners on Saturday if it wasn’t for the support he received from the Central Coast medical staff.
“We all know it was a difficult time for Marcos, but I won’t have a former player question the integrity of our club,” Moss said.
“Our medical team is extremely professional and they go well above and beyond the call of duty because they care about our players. The support he received was second to none — he knows that and I know that. If he’s got an issue with not being offered a new contract, then take that up with me, but don’t make a sweeping generalisation that he got no support form the football club, because he did.”
But it wasn’t just from the medical team that Flores received support, Moss says.
The club provided him with a send-off in Gosford, which was well attended by fans and helped Flores raise money for the Johnny Warren Football Foundation.
Flores also specifically asked Moss to make an early decision on his playing future at the club in order for him to explore his options.
“For a club that supposedly showed no support, I don’t think we would have gone out of our way to do all that,” Moss said.
“Unfortunately he was on a one-year contract and I only have a squad of 23 and I had to get reinforcements in, who did very well for us.
“It’s a cruel world sometimes, but it was a purely football decision I was forced into making. It’s not the nicest part of our jobs as professional coaches.”
Mossy's fired back over Flores' comments:

Agreed. WeeMac and Flores had to be two of the most likeable guys...almost impossible not to love. That's all gone now.GO MOSSY! I have to admit, much as it sucks to lose players to other clubs, especially those nearby, it's very thoughtful of them that they often actively do their best to make me dislike them after they leave

I think that only those injured or away on international duty are listed as unavailable. Everyone else is available but haven't made the squad. Morton, Kalik, Matty, New CB, also not there.Where's Matty? I mean, I know that he's been unavailable, but I thought he would've at least been listed as unavailable?
I'm sure that's not an indication of the total starting 11. Rather.....looks like Mossy had the defensive starting team, maybe including the DM's on one side...against possibly the starting attacking team on the other. It would be a pointless exercise not testing the defence in a practice match and making it totally one sided.Copy and pasted from 442 forums : http://au.fourfourtwo.com/forums/default.aspx?g=posts&t=95927
Read the comment of a mariner's fan who apparently was at Tuggerah watching the training session.
Looking back at the post, i'm sure this is right..Matty's not even in the squad so can't be the number 9. I'll be amazed if Dukey and Caceres don't start and think Caceres will be the number 10.I'm sure that's not an indication of the total starting 11. I still like Flores, and think it was silly of us to reject his offer to stay on basic minimum wage.
Missed the first 8 minutes of the Live Pre-Game Interviews stream, damn. From what I saw it seems to be a great CCM initiative. Only 16 max. viewers on YouTube but probably, hopefully many more watching it direct from the club's website.
Hope they have a repeat, please?
(vid link removed)Its all here
Good stuff! He did say it would be good to see them though, didn't he?I loved that quote from Monty about Mikey, "would like to give him a good kick"
