ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Bozza seemed to go through his usual routine pre game. As he said in the post game interviews, his body hasnt been doing this kind of work for years and it has taken its toll.

Good effort from the guys copying his warm ups - a la Merv Hughes at the MCG

He did will be interesting!
The club only just offered Danny a 3 year contract so i dunno what will happen but with Bozza it is like a Soap Opera only difference you actually want to see what happens next.

Lawrie said it would probably be his last game for the mariners on nbn tonight.

Bozza wants to stay but they dont want him.

The team that could use bozza is perth.

I dont think that the Mariners dont want Bozza. He has proven himself invalueable already to the club with the development of Redders and helping with Danny and Nash. I have a sneaky suspicion they might sign him up from Jan and Danny might head OS. Then Bozza to be keeper for ACL.

Bulldog you could be right and the doctors are only telling him that he has to have 3 months  off for the injury and operation to get back which is in January :innocent:

He mentioned last night on Fox that he wants to honour his commitment with the Mariners as the club has been good to him so he wants to return the favour.

Yes Ted he did mentioned that he wants to return the favour but that's untill someone puts pen to paper and in two weeks time if that did not happen injured or not someone will be there after his signature belive me. Yes it could be any A leauge team or the J league after watching their goalkeepers perform no probls for him and they pay a lot more?

Nice to hear him give Bojic a wrap on Fox, described him as a really good utility player who can cover most of the backline and into MF.

His legal commitment to the Mariners ends at the end of his guest stint. I think what he  was trying to convey last night that he will talk to the club and inform them what he is doing - as well as listen to their plans. If they happen to coincide great. If not - everyone has been treated professionally.

Kudos to CCM maangement for taking the chance. Kudos to Bozza for the humour, grace and aplomb he has displayed.

I'd love to see Bozza return to play with CCM, but if it doesn't eventuate then so be it. He has always let it be known he wants to play overseas again as the money is more lucrative than what players are paid here in Australia. He's awesome keeper, great showman and has been fantastic for both the Mariners and the HAL in general.

Whatever Bozza decides to do, I wish him all the best.

Both Bozza & Lawrie have been hinting at an ACL stint (at least) after the match. Whatever happens, when Bozza finally retires can we put him in for Harper in the Fox Commentary team?!

Redmayne looked comfortable and confident, but the fact is he had nothing to do.

He had a lot to do in the youth match, which he did well and with confidence.

Given his age and this injury, surely any big overseas clubs would be thinking twice about signing Bozza. Whatever happens with his playing future, his future in the media is assured.

From 442 Website;

"I'm hoping it's not too serious and I can play again this year, maybe even Friday night (against Adelaide)."
