ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

anyone reckon we’re in with a chance.
To misquote Bill Shankly 'If they were playing down the bottom of my garden, I'd draw the curtains.'

As much as I would love this to happen, it sounds a bit dodgy.

"A Victory spokesman claimed the club was unaware of the potential match against United."

"News Corp also approached the Victorian government and the MCC – responsible for management and development of the Melbourne Cricket Ground – for comment, but is still awaiting responses."

If only the Mariners could secure one of them! Imagine ManU at a Mariner home game...Rowles big Dan defending against some of the greatest players in the sport...so cool!!

"Sources have also suggested United could play up to four matches in Australia."

They owe us for Phelan. Surely we have the connections to be a chance but it would probably be against no names

That's kind of an odd decision...my main question is, why?
Seems the Nix have given up on the Gong due to costs so now they use other locations. They have played at Campbelltown and kogarah lately. They probably think some Scum supporters will venture down to the coast to watch the game. So the Scum are being looked after at our expense as the have plenty of time to get to CCS with a later start. Meantime we get shafted at our home ground. Not loving this league at the moment.

It’s been announced that we are playing before that game against Victory in a double header, probably justifies the reason for having Wellington play at ccs

It makes sense for them and it likely makes the costs cheaper for both home teams, but the ordering is all arse about. Nix fans have to watch their team play late and we have to try to rush to the game. Commuter car park won’t have emptied a lot by then (pending how busy it is with covid) The only winners here are jets fans.
