I want Scotch McDonald to get a hat trick next match, although he doesn't need to to have a good game. He gets so much unreasonable bad press and fan reaction.

Scotch hasn't scored. But he is playing good football, except one touch against Qatar. He is the reigning top goalscorer of the SPL, which is a strong league in Europe, perenially doing well-ish in the CL. A-league is so shit. If I wasn't an Australian I wouldn't watch most matches this season. It is ridiculous to compare A-league to SPL.

We can count on Scotch to score when he has the chance. The ball hasn't fallen for him. We are not a team that relies on individuals creating and finishing their own goals. We are a team that uses a team system and he plays well in it.


Josh Kennedy showed that he isn't just a tall guy to aim long balls at. Flash and effective touches and passes. Great crosses from Luke "Sarge" Wilkshire, one of them being headed in by JK showing that he is just a tall guy to aim long balls at.

Jas Culina was excellent. I don't think he will move to GC and it would be a shame if he did. His football would suffer playing with shitty players. I hope he's just gunning for a better contract at PSV.

I always thought Carney should get a haircut. Now I wish he hadn't.

McDonald was rubbish. His touch Wednesday night was atrocious and he was so slow. At one time wilkshire put a perfect through ball, he was two metres ahead of his defender and still mowed down.

Celtic create so many chances in the SPL that any fat, slow mug can pot goals away.

If Kennedy gets injured and Dukes doesn't step up we are in big do do.

I would have loved to have seen one M. Simon take the field for McDonald last night instead of Holman. Those conditions were perfect for him. A tired, demoralised Qatar defence would have had nightmares about Matty running around them and he would have had a greater chance of hitting the target than Holman.

My ticket says I bet at 6:17pm, so it must have firmed up. Unbelievable considering the rain. I bet your heart skipped a beat when at 4-0 Qatar had the chance right in front of goal toward the end, can't believe he put it over! Hope you had a lot of dollars on the bet
